Here's my idea: Quest: Hollow of Spirit. 1. Speak to Eris. (She gives you the ability to purchase a Semblance of Light for 15000 glimmer. This renders Thorn equivalent to your average light level while in Crimson Doubles. So if you're level 311 without including your primary, it raises it to that. 2.Return light to the Thorn. Get 10 kills in one game of Crimson Doubles with this gun equipped. 3. Talk to Eris. 4. Light trickles in. Get 15 revives in Crimson Doubles with this gun equipped. 5.Talk to Banshee. Activating a mote of light with Thorn equipped does the same thing as Semblance of light, but for strikes. In addition, for 15 minutes, it grants Thorn the ability to generate Ionic Light when killing majors or ultras 6. Light flows into the gun. Collect 25 orbs of Ionic Light. Take them to Banshee. 7.talk to Banshee 8. Light rushes into the gun. In the Crimson Doubles playlist, get 30 assists or assisted kills with both you and your partner using thorn. 9. Light has awoken the sleeping gun. Return it to its glory. Kill Xyor the Unwed in a level 310 special Taken version of the Phogoth Strike. 10. Return to Eris. 11. Dismantle Thorn. Reward: The Crimson Rose emblem Rose: Exotic handcannon. Same stats as thorn. A green, ivy themed gun with red and pink petals coming off of it. Tier 1: Same as thorn Tier 2: Hidden Hand Tier 3: Speed Reload High Caliber rounds Injection mold Exotic Perk: Mark of the Original: Enemies shot with this gun gain the Mark of the Original debuff for 4 seconds. They glow red (exactly like what thorn does but opposite color) and health regen is greatly decreased. After the timer ends, an explosion (with a rose petal effect) occurs centered on them which damages all enemies near them (the explosion does not damage the carrier). Enemies damaged by the explosion gain the Mark of the Original, continuing the chain. This perk stacks with additional shots, further decreasing their recovery and increasing the radius and damage of the explosion. Reloading this gun temporarily (3 seconds with a 5 second cooldown to prevent spamming) buffs your recovery by 2. This is my idea. Most people are suggesting health regen as it is the opposite of DoT. But that would be red death or suros and I wanted to suggest something different.

Rose should be legendary just like Red Spectre, Eyasluna and baby dragon's breath

Everyone should be encourage to use Thorn so they can get the "prick" emblem

Some people speculate that the first curse is the "rose" since it was the sister to the last word and dredgen and jaren were most likely brothers

You Must hit Rank 5 in Crimson Doubles then you unlock the Quest. Don't worry though I'll start a Nerf the Rose post going in advance

And apparently there´s a secret exotic in the blueprints at the tower, I don´t know if it´s a bug or something but this could totally be true. Bungo plz.

And all the people that don't yet have Thorn (including me, having played for 3 months on XB1 and 9 months on PS4, before year 2)? While I accept it is available from the "legacy" engrams (although not confirmed) I have yet to get one from a Legacy engram (and I've bought 4 so far and have most of the year 1 primaries).
