I'm upgrading to next-gen. Any suggestions?
Any advise? Which one do you think is better overall?

3 通の返信PS4 has better graphics capability. Xbox seems to have better online services. You can't really see the difference in graphics as most companies aim for parity so as to not pick sides. So the PS4 gets held back and the Xbox One is fully utilized. There's a funny Gamespot video with Far Cry 4 where they have PS4, Xbox One and PC and have their reviewers try to guess which is which. Almost no one could tell them apart. Then, for fun they retested, but all 3 were PS4 and people talked about "seeing the frame rate better" on one over the other. But, they were all the same. It's pretty funny. I like the Xbox controller better so I went with the Xbox.

2 通の返信The main thing I hate about the ps4 is its stupid flashlight controller that dies in 5 minutes and doesn't have a replaceable battery so you're forced to be wired, and the UI has been terrible since the ps3, and is only marginally better. The main thing I hate about Xbox is its habit lately of having glitches often in random things, like party chat for example, some people are having weird issues with games not booting, usually rectified by just turning it off and on. But still annoying. It's been getting better though, they just switched to a new dashboard so shit happens. I don't care about resolution differences, or fps differences. If I'm buying a game I'm going to play with my friends on Xbox, regardless of if ps4 is marginally better looking, and if I want a game to actually look super good I have a pc for that. Don't bother with graphics arguments, all these people are fussing about marginal differences, it's not light and day at all like a max pc versus console, so who cares. If it was a huge difference like ps4 versus ps3 then it would be a different story.

I have both and prefer ps4. I preferred Xbox360 over PS3 for last gen, but xbone took several steps back, while ps4 took steps forward. If all of your friends play on xbone, I would get xbone, though. That trumps everything, imo.

1 返信Im an all time xbox user. This time around ms shoot them selfs on the leg. Barely any good exclusives, weaker hardware, really bad dashboard. I suggest ps4.

I have both, I like the ps4 way better. The ui for the ps4 is miles better IMO. Much easier to navigate where you want to go. The hardware on the ps4 is also better, which should mean more advanced graphics and higher more stable Resolutions and frame rate. Multiplayer maybe better on the Xbox but I wouldn't know because I play mp games on my ps4 where most of my friends are.

Follow your friends Otherwise, PS4 got more exclusive stuff, but in my opinion XBox has a way more stable multiplayer (Just my opinion since i never got problems with the internet and a friend with a PS4 has often problems with error codes or lagging people in PVP) That's my opinion on it, influenced by my experiences so i won't guarantee for you having an undeniable great experience in XBox multiplayer.
