Notice how short the super was(with mask of third man on)
None of the other supers have to worry about these problems.
Those that don't know:
Arc blade was stealth nerfed at ttk launch.
Because people didn't know how to shotgun melee at the time.
Now the super is shorter, slower, has nerfed melee range, and has terrible hit detection, especially in air.

Pay close attention to how aggressive the lunge is. Especially when he's in the air.
It looks like I didn't come close.
Year 1 the range was longer and faster.
Those that actually played pvp all year 1 would notice.
For a super that requires you to be up close, this is pretty bad.

The reason I kept chasing him was because I wanted to see how many misses I can get in a single video.

Why I didn't use it in crowd?
Every time I use arc blade and run at a crowd.
I just trade with a player, or I get killed by every other super in game.
Conspiracy theory vs arc blade every time.
Also hammers seem to be a bit broken too.
They sometimes detonate a bit too early when tracking a player, causing player to survive.
Blink strike doesn't always connect.
Instead of nerfs. Can we get some fixes?
Also you pve players that know little to nothing about year 1 arc blade, that actually believe this was just a series of misses.

Let's make something clear, I'm not saying some of the problems you listed aren't true(a lot of which actually aren't) but it has no direct correlation with Bungie "nerfing" the class. Go look for patch notes it wasn't nerfed. The speed is the same, the duration has [b]not[/b] been shortened, the melee was not nerfed, and the big one: the armor wasn't nerfed. There are bugs in general to all melee abilities but it hurts BD the most because the super is centered around melee. People swear the armor was nerfed but think about it. A whole year went by of a good portion of the players cowering before a bladedancers wake, did you think players wouldn't eventually adapt? Idk about you guys but I've been killing BD with the same exact techniques since launch. Hasn't ever been any change in the amount of damage i have to put out to kill one. Don't get me wrong, the melee is really messed up but it's a tri class problem right now. Fuсk, even radiance melees don't work half the time. I suggest adapting like other players did until bungie addresses the melee. Use the "inertial blink" instead of swiping around wasting your super. Don't make posts screaming about how bungie -blam!-ed up your class but is trying to make it discreet. [spoiler]Also, I can't stress enough how much I don't give a shit about your proof of nerfs that don't exist. Just admit it isn't true, the armor/speed/duration nerf didn't happen. [/spoiler]

I still run BD but it's a -blam!-ing mess for sure. It's always the 3rd swing on the ground that gets you in trouble also as there is the cooldown or pause before the 3 swing animation starts up again.

11 通の返信What's sucks is that you can outrun a BD's super but can't outrun a StormCaller. And then you have the gunslinger which has 3 shots, while Titans sunbreakers can get out 7 hammers.

( warlock main) Blade dancers have been nerfed many times. I remember back in dark bellow they would quickly run trough a sunsinger. But now their hit detection is garbage. I'm able to easily drop them with some primary and Melee damage

40 通の返信I do hunter main and agree with everything. You hit someone several times with arc blade only to be shotguned before the hit registered. Activating it in a crown is instant death because A: You are lucky to get into a crowd. And B: two shotgun shots kill and there are always several shotgunners in a crowd

First of all their were half a dozen other people you could have gone for and pretty much that happens to all supers not only bladedancer, Sunbreaker(run in circles, you survive), sunsinger, bladedancer(just run and survive)

That same guy in the same match had the detection issue a second time against me which caused him to die from my sidearm, as the first swipe didn't register. It for real needs fixed.
