Why do 3 guns make up 46% of the kills in trials?

Im not here to cry OP or Nerf Plz but i just think it's kind of saddening to see nearly half of all players use these three guns (MIDA, TLW, 1KYS)
you would like to think there would be a large number of viable options that arent these 3. I understand the thousand yard is the only realistic option for rez sniping but still.
Thoughts?
EDIT:
Just went flawless and ran into 2 team of MIDA/1KDS only and 2 teams of TLW/1KYS only.
Shoutout to the team we ran into that was using fusion rifles and the guy with the First Curse.

5 通の返信Everyone uses the same weapons because they're just boring people. People would rather "improve their KD" than have fun. It's super stale playing against the same crap, soooo many weapons in this game but you only see 3 or 4 being used. It's like going to baskin Robbins, seeing 31 different flavors but you heard vanilla is the "best" so you mindlessly pick it.

Because destiny have alot more children and CoD players that have no skill so they use and over abuse the "OP" gun of the patch and abuse them so much it causes that gun to get nerf so sooner or later they will get what's coming to them a nerf and start crying and moaning that their "favorite" gun is getting nerfed knowing damn well they only use it because it's broken

7 通の返信At least when there was Thorn + Shotgun, it promoted aggressive playing. Now there is just camping snipers and scrubs with MIDA.

okay to start with 1000 yard stare is one of the best snipers available for pvp with high aim assistance mida is one of the best scout rifles and again has high aim assistance and has hardly been touched by any changes and the last word a good hand cannon again has a good amount of aim assistance ................is anyone else seeing a pattern here?

1k is literally the only gun that can rez snipe that isn't an exclusive and has good scopes. TLW allows you to have the CQC of running a shotgun, with the fastest kill time in a primary. Mida was literally just brought to Year 2 like two and a half weeks ago.

3 通の返信Persons train of thought after getting killed with Thousand Yard Stare: Well, maybe if I run directly into his line of sight for a fifth time... Seriously, try using a different tactic. If you try to get in a head on battle with a weapon that kills you in one shot, you should NEVER expect to win. Bitching about it afterwards just makes you look childish, and this is coming from a person who is not that great at using snipers in pvp.

3 通の返信See what happens is someone finds a class that does well and then it gets adopted and almost everyone uses that class because it did well and not enough people true to experiment with anything else. I bet if we all took the time we could find some really nice combos. For example, chaperone/no backup plans or the jugg/plan c combo (credit to that combo goes to whoever posted the original video about it, sorry I can't remember your name) there is so much variety in this game but it's easier to complain than experiment

Noctroglyphにより編集済み: 1/5/2016 4:47:55 AMIt's because everyone reads these guns are great and stupidly ignore other guns that have faster TTK and/or are better all around at the same light level ([i]Boolean Gemeni[/i] and [i]Weylorean's March[/i], anyone? ) They nerfed the hell out of Hawkmoon, though. TLW and TFC are the only decent exotic HCs now. IB HC is badass with the right perks, though. EDIT: Also, the MIDA is not really that great. the ability to run while scoped with the Third Eye perk is what makes a combo that is noob friendly.

1 返信Mida is balanced, as well as last word. The thing is, most autos don't do well in trials, mida is good overall, and last word is meant to be the ultimate CqC weapon. Mida is very balanced, it's a good all around weapon and have you noticed nobody has ever complained about it for a year until now? 1000 yard is a good sniper, easily available. Nuff said
