blades of honorにより編集済み: 1/7/2016 2:45:41 AMBy far the worst was blink shotgun, tlw, thorn, final rd spear, & pulse rifles(red death pretty much) I haven't played for a couple months but looks like the weapons are actually pretty even....finally

31 通の返信I don't know how people, who played through all of year 1, can honestly say this is the worst PVP "meta". Vanilla was ALL auto rifles, and if you had Suros or Vex, you win. No contest. Dank Below was the rise of a shotgun blink. House of Wolves was Blink, Shotgun and Thorn. It was horrible to play and unless you played with these weapons, you were at a disadvantage. I simply don't get that logic. I think they need to take off the Vanilla tinted glasses. I didn't get killed by a scout rifle in year 1. Not as much as I do now. Nor could I compete with them. I'm sorry but Year 2 PVP is far better

I liked Thorn meta better. More guns could compete against the dominant meta. Yeah Thorn and TLW was annoying, but I felt like more weapons could easily compete against them. Now it's just who has the better Scout Rifle and knows how to hit headshots at far ranges.

1 返信The meta is okay, it's better than the thorn era. It's honestly the matchmaking and laggy servers.

2 通の返信MIDA gets beat cleanly by both adept doctrine and inward lamp. I beat a guy with DoP from sniper range and he had MIDA. MIDA is not unbeatable. It is a good gun though.

I actually liked the thorn meta. I mean if you can land those headshots you're fine. If you couldnt you're dead. Game goes faster and the ones with better aim and faster reaction time won the gunfight. Now its more about strategy and positioning(camping), it's not terrible but i kinda dislike it. We'll see how it goes in the future.

2 通の返信For some, who play very aggressively and like constant non-stop action in crucible, this meta seems boring. For others (like me), who play passively and tend to let the enemy come to them instead of rushing the enemy, this meta seems fair. This is the first meta that has promoted a passive play style. Up until TTK, every meta was completely centered around aggressive and fast-paced strategy, and those who didn't play like that were at a serious disadvantage. Now that they have been put on an even playing field, the warriors have started to feel left out because the game isn't focused around their preferences anymore. They don't want the game to be fair, they want it to cater to their playing style.

2 通の返信Donniebee2により編集済み: 1/6/2016 6:51:56 AMBungie made a very simple mistake. They made Destiny a democracy controlled by its players. We've all seen what that idealistic view of the world has done to our country. And that's adults making the calls. Destiny let's kids run the Vw. What did you or anyone expect? We all got exactly what we asked for. "12/02/2014 - Please nerf Suros. It's impossible to play against "

2 通の返信People hate MIDA and snipers because they can't ladnd head shots for their life , hand cannons pulse rifles autos and fusions didn't depend on critical hits as severely , as a result people hate being killed by what they suck with , we have hate flowing around because of good players being able to land head shots with weapons that aren't rewarding you for body shots.

1 返信In different way, I think it really is the worst one. I was around for all the BS in Y1 and I'm not saying I wish it was back to that at all. It's just that this period is bad in a different way. Nothing "feels" right. Everything is slower and more sluggish all the way down to the supers, character mechanics, and the weapons. I suppose it's more "balanced" but it really feels like this balance ultimately came from making everything a lesser tool; not making weaker ones strong again. Bladedancers, while hated by most people for being so strong in the past, can't even register their hits. Strikers are having hit detection problems with their shoulder charge. Golden Gun burns up so fast you basically have to try to use like a 3-shot OP shotgun in most cases-except it gives off such an announcement when it's charged that your targets are usually gone. Sunsingers aren't really what they were. Sunbreakers seem to be reporting their hammers detonate before they even land (I don't know first hand because I don't use Titan), and on and on. They are all balanced because they're all broken in one way or another. Same thing with primaries for me. Most things aren't crazy good or totally OP and that's good. But they all feel sluggish. They take a long time to equip and most of tuning has been aimed at making everything less accurate, less controllable, with very hard to predict damage falloff. Like I said, in the sense of having played last year, it's nice to not have TLW, Thorn, Felwinter's dominating every map. But the price seems to have been that we basically play a game where all the mechanics have been hampered, made clumsy, and slowed down to a crawl. Invisibility works very well nowadays and so Blink/Shotgun has been fully replaced by Invis/shotgun with an emphasis toward camping all day. It's every single bit as irritating, imo. It just seems like everything has been made awkward to reach "balance". Like, they couldn't figure out a balance while keeping most things "good".

WhiteMidnight666により編集済み: 1/6/2016 7:00:48 AMOver 6 matches In under 2 hours were literally all TLW'S, midas or 1kys. Went negative in all of them cause the time to kill is insanely too low. TLW for example, I can get the drop on one with my shotgun then be dead before I can fire a second round... that's like 2 seconds tops.

6 通の返信Well, the way I look at it, with skill, anything can be used in this meta. I can beat a mida with a last word or hawkmoon, at appropriate range, or use at kill suros dis43 scout. I can snipe people from a distance, can use my fusion rifle effectively at the correct range, as well as shotguns, and sidearms. I can use an auto rifle to mow down someone as long as it's got a good roll, pulse rifles are still very much usable. My nirwins mercy still destroys people. Some supers are a bit over the top, but only if used correctly. All supers can be taken out with a headshot from a sniper from full health, I've tested this. The way I look at it, this meta makes sure that certain types of weapons from each class of weapon is efficient if you have skill. Learn proper ranges, where to engage certain fights verses certain weapons. Know what to carry into the fight, depending on the map. This meta is designed around skill, rather than op weapons. I personally have no problems with it.
