Hard scoping isn't skill
Hard scoping a doorway at head level isn't skill. It's just as bad as camping corners with shotguns. Taking quick precision shots is skill.
Edit:So much hate, guess I'm calling people out lol and I'm not salty btw. This is a PSA
Edit 2:Do not compare sniping in Destiny vs sniping in real life. You can't even lay down in Destiny lol plus future, aliens, space magic
Edit 3: As long as everyone is aware hard scoping a doorway waiting for people to run by is dirty and not skill. I'm ok with people doing it.
Edit 4: So much hate. Y'all must think it's either hard scope or quick scope. No you can scope in, but waiting 5+ seconds at head level for someone to walk In from their spawn. That's hard scope and dirty.

The whole point of a sniper is to stand back and provide backup for his allies and/or be unnoticed. Not rush and try to quickscope people, because the way you're talking sounds like your ideal sniper is a rusher. Destiny isn't a FaZe tryout session. If you're mad that people kill you by hard scoping, go back to CoD, that game is where there's other people that'll agree with you.

Quick scoping is a skill, but hard scoping is sniping, plain and simple. Fact, without aim assist quick scoping would be pretty much nonexistent. Hard scoping is a skill of patience and wisdom. Truth is I get frustrated at getting sniped from an alley, but I recognize they are discipline enough to hang back. So I find a work around and try to flank them.

Who cares about whether or not it's "skill bro?" It kills the enemy. That's the point. As for me, I suck at sniping. If I'm in a game where the other team is sniping, I alter my play style--get close by staying indoors, and *gasp* corner shotgun them. All these elitists like this whiny poster forget that it's a game people play to have fun, not to see who has the bigger dick. If you want to have a pissing contest, go do it somewhere where it matters, like on a playing field or at a job.

People wouldn't be complaining about sniping if we weren't all given a high impact sniper with good perks and scopes for completing a quest. I have moved to black spindle because I have been sniping since day 1 and I can't be bothered with the hate people get for using the 1000 yard stare.

I would like to see you make quick scopes and scope in kills like me I bet you are a crybaby shotgunner that gets pissed when you blindly run around a corner and get sniped. It takes practice and skill to make those shots. I have been doing it since day one and now since people have finally found out that it is a viable strategy people are complaining and asking for a nerf. People like you ruin this game.

Hard scoping. Hmm I've heard of this before. So I'm guessing Chris Kyle was a scrub? Ok. Just checking up to make sure Hard Scoping is what sniping is in real life. It's not "oh here comes the German General lets quick scope him". Snipers wouldn't be around if it wasn't for your so called "hard-scoping". Please try and prove me wrong both my parents were in the US Military and they have practiced with snipers.

its just a way to play the game. most people enjoy running around the map with a wing man double teaming everyone but that somehow is more legit than staying in the same place with the same gun. look if someone is camping it should only take getting killed by them once to know theyre camping there. killing campers should be the easiest kill you can get. throw grenade, wait for movement then move in to finish it. if youre repeatedly killed by a camper youre just bad. its all about evironmental awareness. if a camping sniper is hardscoping that door and has been for half the game then dont go through that door. flanking is youre best friend.
