Sunbreaker has lost the "super" in its super. With all the reductions to the hammer itself, you should of kept some defensive abilities of the super. I can deal with the Cauterize nerf, but the damage resist is over the line.
That extra 5% was what Sunbreaker used to replace the lack of blink and invisibility. Bungie screwed to pooch on this one and catered to the loudest whines of the Hunters.
You made the tank class have the exact same tank as the agility class, but disregarded the fact that Bladedancers can also use blink and invisibility to evade death.
What's the difference between an ability that avoids bullets and one that tanks them? They both achieve survival. You can't disregard this at all.
Shame on Bungie.
Another possible solution, prohibit blink when using Arc Blade.
EDIT: Listen all, if the end result was to nerf Sunbreaker for a balanced super that can be taken down just as easily as the others, then the nerf failed. We can all see that blink during Arc Blade is an evasive tactic to avoid bullets and prolong your life. Hmmmm, that pretty much is the same as an extra 5% damage resist... right? Arc Blade has no cool down on health regen, blink, invisibility and 50% damage resist. That's an unfair advantage that sticks out like a sore thumb. It's time for Hunter's to cry about not getting a nerf and pretend it's not op. LOL
EDIT2: keep the hate coming, only shows how ignorant you are. My logic is on point. And thanks to all the honorable people who can see an obvious overnerf to Sunbreaker. Keep up the kind words. Cheers.
EDIT3: I'm whining for my crutch back??? LOL Laughable... Are you seriously saying that 5% more damage resist for less than a minute of a game is a crutch? HAhahahahaaaa.... I'm sure most of this community would agree that BLINK is a CRUTCH. Yet, I don't want to see it gone for good, I just want Titans to have a fair shake in the game. You people ought to be ashamed of yourselves.
EDIT4: "Waaa waaa blah blah, a tank class is not supposed to dish out AND resist tons of dmg."
Okay... so an agility class should not be able to dish out AND evade a tons of bullets? Because that's the case we have right now with Arc Blade... looks like I just put down another lame excuse.
EDIT5: It's the thread that won't die! Muwahahahaaa! I'm sure by now someone at Bungie has taken notice. As long as they get together and hash out some logic to fix this, I'm okay. In case you all are wondering, I play Sunbreaker with Simmering Flames and barely use my Hammer of Sol. Also, Striker is where it's at right now. I'm only on Sunbreaker when I want to spam grenades every 12.5 seconds.

I don't main titan but it is my 2nd class. I really wish they would put it back to the way it was. I mean atleast for pve. I don't play alot anymore but when I do, I'd like to slap some shit in the face with hammers.

I agree that they went a little overboard, if Titans want the damage reduction back, I think they should have it because now you actually have to hit or hot very close to someone to kill them, which is good enough of a nerf for me

I agree sum breakers are garbage. We didn't ask for all the extra nerfs they got the only problems I ever heard people having was the armor not the splash damage of hammers and major armor reduction 5% armor reduction would have been perfect (I don't main a Titan)

5 通の返信My reasoning for reinstating the same resistance is its much harder to take down a bladedancer than it is a sunbreaker. Sunbreakers/titans should be the toughest to take down yet the hunter takes that crown.

1 返信The point of all nerfs should be to balance things. They changed cauterize- it was a problem, that's a good start. They took away a lot of armor- that seems fair Then our. Agility- whoa Bungie, what the hell. Give us back some armor or agility, not both. One or the other.

8 通の返信Shakeyにより編集済み: 12/27/2015 11:12:36 PMEveryone complaining about a little 5% or blink or invisibility have one thing in common - they're all pathetic. It's not a crutch to use something good in the game. If it works out for you and you can use it well then you're more than welcome to use it, the issue is whether the opponent is good enough to counter you. Literally 80% or more of nerf whines on this forum alone can be removed just for the simple fact the OP is not willing to put the time in to improve; a lot of you want immediate changes to make your life easier. Ridiculous. Get over it and practice. Edit: before anyone points out things that are "too good" well that's a different story. Hammers were too good, vanilla BD was too good, TLW, Thorn and shotguns throughout HoW were too good. Using a weapon that is too good before it is rebalanced is not nooby or a crutch or whatever the hell you want to call it. I personally don't see the point in putting myself at a disadvantage. Stop waiting for your personal favourite weapon type to be reintroduced to the meta and adapt. The best will adapt and the rest will whine - can't change that unfortunately.

25 通の返信Warlock main here, I just think this is hilarious. Any fellow Warlock mains sign here about your thoughts about how this argument is dumb. I could care less, considering I used SoDA Voidwalker pre-sunbreaker nerf and Nova Bomb'd them. From all of this I can scavenge three things 1. Some Titans don't understand the concept that they throw one shot bullshit 2. Some Hunters don't understand that Bungie isn't going to listen to OP and are just making asses out of themselves (which they most likely have before) And 3. Warlocks are just kind of sitting here, waiting to catch the aggro from whichever class that complains first.

2 通の返信Nope. It's still the best super in the game. Easily. Without question. It's now just not beyond stupid and broken where you can just mash the trigger and get a 7th column. You actually need to choose your engagements and just can't run blindly at 6 people and wipe them all.

3 通の返信Let me explain this in simple terms. Titans have fastest speed and most armor in any class. Titan Skating, and Unstoppable on Striker maxes armor purely, meaning most agile and tankiest. Bladedancers need to use a super for ONE of these, agility. Titans just jump and glide. Explain how any of that is fair.
