Twilight G, Shadestep and warlocks.
Spoiler alert: another complaint.
Titan get twilight garrison, good for them.
Hunters had shadestep since TTK, nice.
But do warlocks get? Nothing. We get stuck with -blam!-ing glide and eventually blink if we decide to switch to voidwalker.
Can't we have a nice piece or armor that would give us a somewhat similar perk? For -blam!-s sake, we mastered space magic and we can't even get something like that?! Can't we get to use that double tap circle as well?
Thoughts?
Edit 1: I know we will have a helmet that will reduce the cool down of blink but that's not my point and blink is for voidwalkers.
Also, IONIC blink is only available during our SUPER (as stormcallers) and it costs us more super use unlike shadestep or TG's perk that can be used anytime, given that TG works for ALL subclasses. So please, don't bring that up, it's not valid as an argument to me...
Edit 2: Please understand that I am talking about a whole [u]new ability[/u] here which is evasion. I'm not discussing on exotic gears and their various armor and defense perks. Twilight (and Graviton somehow) just happen to be exotic gears that offer a NEW ability.
Edit 3: As many of you have stated it already, warlocks DON'T NEED that new perk but it'd be nice to have ACCESS to it as an option if we want to use an exotic slot for that new ability.
Edit 4: For -blam!-s sake, why do some of you bring up stuffs like 'you have self res; you got an OP melee; you have overshield'
Self res is a SUPER not a perk! Op melee? Titans have shoulder charge. Overshield? Hunters have cloaking. Why do we bring up main warlocks perks and supers as a way to 'justify' that we shouldn't get evasion like titans who just got it for all of their subclasses? Be logic!
Edit 5: So from some comments that actually made a good point (aside from all the ones that didn't read my post fully) I acknowledge that titan and warlock have angel of flight (or so), warlocks and hunters have blink and that hunters and titans have evasion. From my point of view, evasion is a new ability that just wasn't available to us like bungie enjoys making things unbalanced usually. Thanks for your participation for the non-salty guardians!

3 通の返信The only thing that keeps me from playing warlocks as much as other classes is the crappy jumping. I hate it so much, especially on the Dreadnaught stuff. I haven't even finished the missions for my warlock because I dread the jumping.

I just want the Astrocyte Verse Exotic Helmet to grant the Voidwalker subclass the ability to do an instant, short-distance Void Blink along a straight path on the ground by double tapping crouch. You'd think that Warlocks, who created Blink, and have vast knowledge and proficiency with Light, would be able to create or use an advanced version of it.

12 通の返信Hunters don't have Angel of Light Titans don't have Blink Warlocks don't have an Evade OP wants to make class choice make even less of a difference than it does now If you get an evade, Titans get Blink, and Hunters get Angel of Light. So no. Don't go telling me Angel of Light is useless, lol. You're using it wrong, you're supposed to jump up, snipe with it, and fall back down. Can also save you from accidentally falling to your death.

1 返信Stopped reading after you first edit. You mentioned the blink cool down only good for voidwalkers. Well shade step on a hunter is only good for nightstalkers. The problem we have here is this armor gives titan a completely different ability that is not on any other class tree. Thus giving them an extra ability. Don't get me wrong I don't see a problem with it. Good for anyone who wants to use it. If your good with your shots (depending on the lag in the game as well) the titan should be dead either way. He has to jump towards you to activate it. That's up in the air in the open. I main a hunter but play all classes. Each class has its own special feature that if used correctly can win games. Take the hos titans. In trials as a hunter I would always take nightstalker to shut them down. Or defender class as a titan. The game will always have aspects that seem op. You just need to find the best way for your playing style to deal with it. Some people do better sitting back and getting that headshot with a sniper before that get the chance to evade. Others rush up close and personal hit them before they know it.

1 返信Regarding your edit 4 on overshield melees, for the warlock all you have to do is make contact. Defender has force barrier but requires you to kill your target.

2 通の返信What about a warlocks lore or play style leads you to believe that a doge perk fits the class? Blink is associated to Voidwalkers because it fits. Hunter's have blink and shadestep(class specific) because it fits the lore and play style of the class. Titans had shoulder charge which was neutralized by blink shotgun and well as a warlocks OP Melee range and over shield. Titans used the shoulder charge which was meant as an attack as a mobility perk because it's intended use was not effective. Don't say Titan skating is a mobility perk, Titans had to figure out how to use the Standard jump mechanic to their favor. Twilight garrison gives them a mobility perk at the cost of an exotic, so it's fun in normal PVP however most Titans will favor Armormentarium(I know I destroyed that word) or Crest for trials. In all honesty it just sounds like you feel left out and want a mobility perk simply because the other classes have it.
