Did Bungie really change the percentages in the Patch notes? All of the damage changes say less than one percent more or less for both auto rifles and pulse rifles.
What they said for autos
Small increase to base damage
◦Low RoF (Suros Regime, An Answering Chord): 0.3% increase from previous base damage
◦Med RoF (Zhalo Supercell, Paleocontact JPK-43): 0.7% increase from previous base damage
◦High RoF (Arminius-D, Necrochasm): 0.04% increase from previous base damage
I swear that those numbers were moved over by a few tens places with higher integers. Now that's so miniscule it means nothing except for maybe every 7 bullets.
Then Pulses
Reduced base damage
◦Low RoF (The Messenger, Spare Change): 0.9% reduction from previous base damage
◦Med RoF (Hawksaw, No Time To Explain, Red Death): 0.9% reduction from previous base damage
◦High RoF (Bad Juju): 0.9% reduction from previous base damage
◦Highest RoF (Grasp of Marok): 0.97% reduction from previous base damage
I know that they lost a lot more damage than just 1%. Could we get an explanation on this please?
Edit: Here are the November planned patch notes

You can clearly see the difference in what they said they were going to do and what they did. Bungie, if you messed up just say you messed up and fix it.

1 返信I am utterly disgusted. Did they seriously just edit their patch notes instead of communicating with the community? This has not gone unnoticed bungie.

1 返信I just checked both patch notes, and the Nov one has the proper numbers, but December has the .9 and .97
going to be really disappointed if they didn't nerf pulses, because they were wayyy outta balance, the meta was terrible
2 通の返信Nashにより編集済み: 12/10/2015 8:02:37 AMIf you look at the November 19th update, it clearly states values 10x what the patch notes do. Further, instead of clarifying their mistake, they edited the recent patch notes from what coincided with the November news letter to its current state. This is unacceptable. Y'all need a lesson in ethics. You are not the c.I.a., you don't get to just cover up your mistakes. You are a business. We expect a higher degree of transparency! I'm not sure what is going on in house, but if you don't rectify this situation, the bungie trademark will continue to lose value. Stop with the covert nature of your business practices and the social control. If ever there was a time to fix your mistake, its now. Release a statement in the news thread.

It's not a huge nerf nor a huge buff, so it won't make any weapon too over-powered, the goal is to achieve the best balance. Edit: it means overall damage is increased, every number you see appearing on the screen when you shoot a target, for example with the zhalo if you saw numbers such as 1000 it would result in a number such as 1007 for every bullet. Those aren't the actual number but it means you can see the difference from any bullet fired.
