Yeah, because that means everyone there is well off. That makes it ok that hundreds of people died. (•_•)

How about to the families who lost loved ones? What would you do if your family lost the person who provides for it? Would you say, "well, I live in a rich country, so it's ok"? Just because a country is well off, doesn't mean the people are, and it doesn't mean they don't require aid.
