Op has it his complaint is about people getting kicked for not having it. Which I find hard to believe because a) you don't need it in normal mode (or hard for that matter) and b) I would say they were getting kicked for lack of skill. I tend to not give a toss what guns people run as long as they understand the mechanics and aren't excessively dying.
