Just visited a restaurant in paris. I went in for some snails, but came out with a gut full of slugs.

My grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, "If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately." Tears welled up in his eyes when he realised what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me, "Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 25, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because your post gave me cancer anyway.

I found it extremely ironic how people are praying for Paris when the victims were murdered in the name of religion.

No. No more prayers. Religion did this. Religion is the cause of more suffering than anything else in the history of humanity. Less 24 hours ago, over 130 people died because of fanatics of a religion. And this isn't over. There will be another attack. Hundreds more will die. Every religion has been cause of massacres at some point in history. Religion has held our society back for thousands of years.
