Edit: Thanks guys, I get that I spelled guaranteed wrong I've fixed it now...
I know this has been happening from the beginning of trials and I'm SURE it's very lucrative with some people 'charging' upwards of $120 or more to carry total scrubs to the lighthouse (I was watching a stream where I'm surprised the guy being carried could even complete PvE content, he was charging $80 per card and some unknown higher amount if you wanted insurance just in case you had to wipe a card once which would be another $80 without that extra amount up front).
I'm torn on this issue, people have been making money or benefiting from the inadequacies of people that can't do something from the beginning of time. But, this 'service' they are providing kind of seems wrong to me.
What are all of you fine guardian's opinions? Please elude without incriminating yourself if you are someone that gets paid upwards of $800-$1,600 per week (split between the two carrying the nubs). If they only charge $80 and on average a trials run without wipe takes an hour that would be the same as someone making roughly $84,000 if it is an equal split between the two doing the carrying and that is what they did 40 hours a week (Trials lasts for roughly 96 hours; so, if there is a steady flow of individuals that are desperate to go to the light house you could make the bi-weekly wage of an upper-middle income individual in just one trials weekend...)

Im a year one player and the only activity i never touched in Destiny was Trials. I recently decided to give it a go and found two randoms. We won seven matched before we were knocked out. I didnt expect to go to the lighthouse on my first try but i def didnt expect to win 7 and we all pulled our weight. As stupid as i think it is to pay money to get carried through an activity in a videogame, there are no laws being broken. I dont want someone to carry me through i want to get there on my skill eventually. Something given has no value earn that shit on your own. If anyone wants run with me sometimes and maybe teach me some tips of the trade feel free to add me on Xbone. gamertag is Sinestra0

7 通の返信LOL. People freak the -blam!- out about Tess possibly creating a pay-to-win slippery slope, but here a strong majority apparently doesn't care about an ACTUAL pay-to-win situation. Go figure.

I've never been to the lighthouse and will never get there because I suck and it's frustrating but I would never pay for someone to drag me there. However I feel like maybe telling people you will take them there for money is a bit wrong. Idk I just get an off vibe from it. Like, how do you know that person won't just take your money and then disappear into the ether?

3 通の返信It's not the service that sickens me... It's the price, $150 for a lighthouse?! That's inhumane

Ever payed for a taxi? You could have just walked, you didn't need someone else to drive you. But you paid for the convenience and time saved. Same thing applies to anyone looking to get carried. Only people upset either can't afford it or can't make it to the lighthouse on their own.. The rest shouldn't give a shit at all.

I mean, I haven't made it to the lighthouse. And I most likely never will. All I really want is the grimoire card. I used to try and max my grimoire score out but ever since HoW dropped with ToO I kinda had to give that up.

Bungie; "Let's make Tess and Eververse sells ticket to the Lighthouse for 1,000 silvers each ticket has a chance of entering a lucky draw after the finishes the walk around tour". Players start throws money at the screens! Those offering service start making vid and criticize Bungie!
