Will Bungie go overboard with the Sunbreaker nerf?
Well since bungie has a bad habit of neutering things that forum babies cry about, its likely that Sunbreaker will get nerfed into the ground. I still play striker so this isn't a problem for me in PvP. However i will be pissed if they nerf it in PvE
I really don't understand peoples need to cry about a super when it just takes smart play to take them down. Ive even countered a good amount of them solo. Its not that hard people.
The only fair nerf bungie could give to Sunbreaker is a 5% reduction to their damage resistance. If they go overboard with it titans will once again be the most irrelevant class in the game.

Edit: Its quite funny how all these fools on the forums cry for sunbreaker nerfs, then once it does happen they will move onto crying for stormcaller nerfs.
Edi 2: A lot of people are mad that GG can't one shot HoS and thats fine imo. I think that is actually balanced. If GG one shot HoS, GG would win almost 99% of the time due to the nature of the super. I think bungie needs to balance the supers around each other, just like how a single hammer can not kill a bladedancer. This gives bladedancer a fighting chance against them. Maybe it was intended to be this way?

2 通の返信Bungie really doesn't know how to nerf something without making it terrible, so I'm sure that sun breakers will be throwing rainbows that regen the health of your enemies by the time Bungie is done with them.

9 通の返信Sumbreakers deserve a nerf they should be nerfed to the groumd in PvE and only useful against large amounts of thralls but in PvE a 1 shot but if you have a shield it shouldn't 1 shot. Tbh most people who defend the sunbreaker are the people who go around in crucible using it thinking they are good the super takes no skill so maybe it suits the titans

2 通の返信One reason why people die a lot by HoS is because their so stupid they run my way thinking they can kill me. Or they hear me activate my super but stay in one spot. Maybe if people tried to run from me (cause hammers don't travel fast and have terrible drop off) or maybe tried to dodge the hammers they'd survive. But the nerf will most likely make it the most useless class in the whole game and Titans will be the worst PVP class again. It's mostly hunters complaining about HoS, anything that kills them they think it's OP.

5 通の返信A good idea is to make it so sunbeakers can't sprint or double jump while hammer of sol is activated. It would still do the same damage output, just less mobility so they can't wipe the entire scoreboard in a matter of seconds

2 通の返信A single hammer can't kill a bladedancer? Yeah sure. I've seen it several times and i've been killed by one hammer as bladedancer, even tho i don't use that super anymore.

6 通の返信They're really easy to kill with a high fire rate shotgun. Downed multiple today with the chaperone, just get close when they're chasing you can kill the during the animation if you're lucky.

It trades all defense bonuses for instant bursts of lethality. GG would win 99% of the time against a bladedancer too. Or a sunsinger/stormcaller. That's the trade it gets for having no defense. Just like how a bladedancer gets defense but almost no range. I've never had a problem with how powerful the hammers were or how much defense they get alone, just the fact that they get both at the same time.

2 通の返信Storm trance is underpowered, at least compared to the other new subclasses. Mostly because half the time, lightning just tickles them. But you know, if you want Titans to remain overpowered as all high hell, be my guest. I'm not usually someone who enjoys nerfs at all, but this is a Nerf I've wanted ever since the beginning of TTK. My desire for Sunbreakers to be nerfed is higher than my desire was for thorn to be nerfed.
