Ok "filthy casuals" let's have a talk about ToO.
I'm an ok trials/pvp player. I'll be the first to admit that. And there are A LOT of average players out there. But y'all have to stop complaining about not being able to go flawless because of "lag-switchers", "try hards", or whatever excuse you can come up with. Accept the fact that there are going to be players out there who are simply better than you. They are not no lifers or cheaters, they just may be flat out better than you. Year one trials, ran into a lot of lag switchers. You know how many I've ran into year 2? Maybe 2. Stop asking bungie to block flawless players and fix the lag switchers. Practice more if you care so much about it.
EDIT 1: I consider my self a "filthy casual". I wasn't talking down on anybody. I'm an average player.
And to the flawless people who feel the need to be dicks to everybody.

EDIT 2: Thanks everybody for the great input. Some of you are idiots/trolls but for the most part I've received thoughtful, well meaning replies.
EDIT 3: So I've notice people are talking shit on my KD. Apperently people missed the part where I said I was an average player.
EDIT 4: Courtesy of Oni, I understand there are cheaters and it sucks playing them. But a lot of people blame cheaters when in actuality the other team was just better. I've got messages from people saying we lag switched when our connection was green the whole time.

1 返信I didn't go flawless this weekend either. Why? Because in the 8th match I was met with the most insane snipers I've ever seen, but it was with high aim assist snipers, so I don't know...... Still better sniping than I can do.

1 返信I suck at PvP and don't play ToO but one reason is I don't is all the posts of cheating and verified by Bungie. Why waste time? You ran into 2 lag switchers in 9 matches? That is a lot. Or are you saying you played more than one passage?

I can hold my own in pvp, but there are specific weapons and perk combos that play a huge part in regular flawless players' success. Those are the guys who spend many hours farming for legendries and marks to get the right perks and eventually all players will default to that weapon set to stay competitive. But that's what we get for having a system where luck in the chamber is common in snipers and the glorious Hawksaw <-- love this gun by the way

7 通の返信loonigusにより編集済み: 11/3/2015 11:22:29 AMThere are two kinds of "tryhards" - The asshole groups that run Trials only to deny other groups for fun including excessive tbag sessions - The legit good players that carry trough friends that are less skilled in PVP Sadly you meet quite more of the first breed. Also I would rather blame the matchmaker that is rather bad imho. Ive met groups on my 6th win in a row that quit after they got stomped and then I met a tryhard group after I lost two games in a row and they demolished us. In case of lag Iam happy to see that Ive met way less red connections then before.

I am not an average player. I'm a bad player. I have a couple friends who are really good. They let me go into ToO with them and I still haven't gone flawless because I want to learn how to get better, and contribute to a victory, as opposed to being carried. I agree that bad players shouldn't complain about not getting there. It is a prize that you earn through victory. When I get there, I'll genuinely appreciate the help from my friends and the improvement I've made to my skill. I'll have earned it.

I compliment any person willing to take an honest and objective view of themselves and then admit it. I'm an average to below average player too. I have decent games and I have bad games but most of the time I'm mediocre. I can't blame anybody but myself.
