As some other exotics were locked behind a timed release or daily heroic, is it posible that in todays heroic story thagomizers can be unlocked? At the end of the mission, primus Ta'aun is taken by oryx but you are still able to inflict damage on him. Its possible that since today is the daily heroic we could be able to kill him before he is taken and retirve his gauntlets as a reward. Just a theroy but its still worth the effort.
