I'm just wondering what you all think about needing a mic to complete the raid, I have beaten every raid I've done without a mic and we did fine, I have 2 characters that are 300+ light, but I'm starting to get sick of being kicked almost instantly because I don't have a mic, you're not going to fail the raid over and over and over again just because 1 or 2 people don't have a mic, just make sure they can hear you and they know what they're doing and you're set
i apologize for the little rant I want on there.
5 通の返信Yes it can be done without a mic. But you can also drive a car without a seatbelt and have sex without a condom. Can it be done? Yes. Is it safe? No. Having a mic can help prevent a whipe in many different ways. Plus if you find some good company a little conversation helps pass the time while you wait for the noob to find his way in thr maze or the jump part

1 返信As someone who uses Recruitment for 90% of my raid groups I voted Yes. You can get away with one or two people without one though. I've completed raids easily with PUGS when a couple of people couldn't communicate due to NAT issues. Good luck if nobody had one though.

Yes. I don't care if people screw up, because that happens. What I do care about, is that you let us know immediately who abd where you are. What killed you is nice too. That part is mostly for LFG, and actually is a requirement.

1 返信A run with Randoms you will more than likely need it. If you run the raid week after week with a set group you won't cause your all comfortable and know what to do.

I'm not saying that a mic is absolutely necessary but is a nice addition. Commucation is at an important part destiny and a little light chitchat can never hurt a raid group or a fireteam. I'd prefer playing w/ people that have mics

I ran the raid yesterday while I was in a different chat party than my raid team. Used to do it all the time with the other two raids. I know how to run them. You only need a mic if you're inexperienced or with a new raid group.

You don't need a mic for anything. I've helped people through Kings Fall with no mic and we complete it every time. I wasn't carried at any time. I knew better than the raid than other people. I just send messages really fast. If my mic hadn't broke, I still wouldn't be talking since I don't really like to talk.

LostPursuerにより編集済み: 10/22/2015 1:21:28 PMDepending on the situation Personally I don't think you need a Mic. I do it with my usual team and we sometimes don't talk, either we are listening to music or just don't want to put our mics in. You just need to know the flow of your team and your position throughout the raid. If you ever have a doubt then yes put a mic in but I hate those elitist that requires mic a month or two after the raid comes out. (Sorry for the small rant)

For the raid, definitely. Its all about communication. I imagine you could do fine by pointing and shooting to show where youre going, but thats just inconvenient. If you can afford a $40 expansion, and a $400 console, you can afford headphones and a mic

personally I dont care if 1 person has no mic. but kf is diff from the other raids. in the other raids people were separated but as groups, so that no one person was fully responsible. in kf, everybody needs to be communicating or people will get mixed up and it wont work
