I'm just wondering what you all think about needing a mic to complete the raid, I have beaten every raid I've done without a mic and we did fine, I have 2 characters that are 300+ light, but I'm starting to get sick of being kicked almost instantly because I don't have a mic, you're not going to fail the raid over and over and over again just because 1 or 2 people don't have a mic, just make sure they can hear you and they know what they're doing and you're set
i apologize for the little rant I want on there.
4 通の返信Homestly, I think no. As long as you can hear me or the team and know what to do then I don't think it's nesisary. A while back I did hard crota with a bunch of random and none of us had a mic, we just did what we know, and I think we did the raid in about 10 mins.

BarbblerElfにより編集済み: 10/22/2015 3:03:04 PMThe new raid is too new and there are too many people who lie about having experience for most to "trust" people to do what they're supposed to. The raid is very mechanical. If all the gears turn when they're supposed to, you don't have to communicate at all, but it's not realistic to expect a pick up group of randoms to be at that level.

MadiPPy DADDYにより編集済み: 10/22/2015 3:03:43 PMThere is way too much coordination needed in this raid to not have a mic. It CAN be done if YOU don't have a mic. It's just that the OTHER 5 guys will have to communicate that much more, they'll have to carry you through some of the parts and bosses. But if you don't know what to do at war priest, or Oryx, sisters, aura of the weaver, or with any of the auras, and YOU get the shade or whatever, well then everyone is screwed waiting for you to just die. So, in short, if you were my friend and the whole raid party was friends, I'd probably just push through and do the raid with you if you don't have a mic, and you'd be a practically useless body to stay out of our way... But for anyone else, they'd be booted immediately. I'm not carrying some jackass that refuses to use his mic. Besides, why won't you just talk to people when you play? It's way more fun.

1 返信There are only two things that in my opinion require a mic. 1. Raids 2. Trials. Those two things I can see why you'd be booted for no mic. But my question is, didn't everyone's xbox one or ps4 come with a mic? Everyone should have one, just put it on.

4 通の返信No reason not to have one, current gen consoles came with one and almost everyone has headphones with a Mic.

Facts: Can you do it without a mic, sure! Is it better for a team to communicate in a team base game. Absolutely Opinion: If you are going to pug the raid then you need to show you are a team player, are you a team player?

A lack of communication can really hurt the cohesive teamwork required in a raid. I never care enough if the players in my group do/don't have a mic. The last time I had a player without a mic though, we made it to the daughters checkpoint. After a few tries & failed attempts (I like to help new players learn the raid, hence my lack of requirements), he raged out. We brought in a new guy with a mic, did it on the second try. I'm not saying not having mic is bad, I've had runs where players didn't have mics that went really well. Not communicating is a problem. If you don't have a mic or don't want to talk to the players because of bad experiences, I won't judge, just take a short amount of time to message at least the shot caller or the whole group to say "I don't have a mic, but I can still hear everyone." If you have something to say, to contribute, type a message. It's not as hard as it seems & it can go a long way. Plus if you have the right app you can just do it on your phone.

For the new raid, yeah probs... way to much going on... For VoG? Na really... everyone know what to do, get teleported hold your own, kill oracles, jump in the middle... stick snipers up Atheons bum. Crota? No way... man, when i play that through its literally banter and screwing around the whole time. You do not need to comm with anyone playing that through... look around, see what people are doing and join in with that method. Sit up the top with your rocket launcher ready and just shoot when everyone else does. sit back, relax, have a wank and get REKT L00T M8

SirDiesALotにより編集済み: 10/22/2015 2:43:17 PMAnd if you are raiding with new people who use a different strat? If you die? Miss a jump? Go afk? Many people are not going to jump into their messaging to read stuff miss game. Why no mic? Are you a "squeaker" who gets kicked when they hear your voice?

Literally just took a 280 kings fall newbie without a mic through the raid last night. We had 4 ppl over 300 and 2 people new to the raid, one at 292 and 279 starting the raid. By the end of it the guy without a mic hit 300. Making sure they can hear, and understand what portion they are assigned to made the raid pretty easy. I will give, that if the player without the mic is having difficulties, it will end up in lots of wipes since he can't communicate he's having difficulties with an ogre etc. However we've spent almost 150-200$ on this game, and people can't go grab a 5$ psn mic? Cmon guys, mics do make things easier. But no not a complete necessity.

2 通の返信Th only people who I will take into my raids without a mic is people I raid with regularly. Complete random? No mic? = No invite. Is that elitist? No. I help carry newbies through all the time. I just don't want a 3 hour raid to turn into a 6 hour raid. P.S. Yes I know it usually takes less than an hour to clear KF but not always with newbies.

Two people I run the raid wth regularly don't have mics but we have beaten Kingsfall on all three characters with no problem at all. People just have to make sure they listen. Any good raid team can either sit there in silence and have no problem or will just be chatting about random shit during the fight and still have no problem. One of the scariest raids o have done though was when we had one set of oryx left to kill him and everyone's party chat disconnected.
