I feel like if we had everything in the game available to us right off the bat, most of us would have it all and have no drive to continue playing. I prefer the mystery. Why was this Daily something special? Is it gonna lead to an Exotic? As opposed to: "Okay I have everything, now what?"
Edit: I'm enjoying all your opinions and I'm surprised I'm getting so many comments. :)

1 返信I'm not...these cryhards just want something to cry about...if it were RNG based they would be crying about not being able to earn it or Xur not selling it....

Read, Forbes/Tech: Bungie's 'Destiny' Timegates Are Tolerable, But Disappearing Missions Are Not By Paul Tassi "But it’s firmly 'anti-player' to make so many of these missions tied to one specific, unpredictable 24 hour window."

I love it. There was a ton of stuff to do when TTK first dropped, and then just when things were starting to fall into routine again, we get a new quest dropped on us. I think it spices up the week and keeps the game fresh. I hope we see something like this every week or two throughout the year.

Fleshlingにより編集済み: 10/22/2015 8:39:41 PMI don't think it is a terrible system. It does seem as though it was done to extend the playability of the new content, but that isn't necessarily a deal breaker if done properly. First off, I think the new quest based system, timegated, daily or otherwise is a vast improvement to the purely RNG system that year 1 had in place. Now, there is a direct path to obtaining the Boolean Gemini, First Curse, Touch of Malice. If you complete the requirements for a specific exotic, you will get it, 100% of the time. The same goes for Black Spindle, Sleeper Simulant, and No Time to Explain. If you are online and start the first portion of the quest when it is available, you will get them. Contrast that to exotics in year 1. You had to run the same content (Nightfalls, 35 POE, etc.) for a hope of getting a specific exotic to drop or hope Xur would sell it. And even then, if your offerings to the RNJesus weren't accepted, you still might never get it. That was all the more damning as one of those exotics "Gjallarhorn" was widely considered necessary for end game content, and there was no guaranteed way to get one. Now if you look at the three time gated exotics today. They are all fairly powerful, but none are required for end game content. Black Spindle looks cool, but can easily be subbed out with a well rolled 1000-yard stare (the quest one is decent) or if you are a hunter just use Stillpiercer. The Sleeper Simulant is cool because it is a heavy fusion rifle that plays like a sniper. It is certainly unique, and useful in certain situations, but it is not necessary to complete the raid or anything else. Contrast that again to year one where players could demand you have a Gjallarhorn to raid or play 35 POE and it was possible to never get one from a drop...ever. These are fun things to try and get when they become available, but they aren't going to hinder your progress in advancing your light level if you fail to get them. No one is going to turn you away from the raid if you don't have a sleeper or black spindle (any decent sniper maybe they would) and because of that I think it's fine to have them on a schedule of sorts. Does it make sense that they are, story wise or anything else? No, but still it does add a bit of anticipation to the game. I've only been able to get the simulant so far, but will definitely try to grab the others when they are available again.

I was going to say no but then I remembered I've got to week until next week to continue two quests. I guess it's a slight simulation of "real life". Meh. "I've placed your order. Come back next week and it'll be ready for you to pick up." It's not too bad, but it's sucks a little.

I like it; gives me something to look forward to "what's next?" I also like that they're still "classified" - not in the grimoire and not in the "unavailable" blueprints. We have no idea how much more is out there.

2 通の返信I think they are great. I wish my year ones would have been done like this. Imagine the quest you should have done for the gally.

I'm fine with it. I cruise the forums when I have downtime at work and if there's one of these quests available that day I'll make a point to get on and just START the quest. No one said you had to do it all at once and I'm sorry but it's not that hard to get on for a few minutes. I've got a full time job during the week too but most of the quests, the first step has been simple, probably intentionally, and then just do the rest when you do have time. The only one that needed to be done that day was black spindle and it's very challenging which is cool. I still don't have it but I know that I will in the future. I mean how can you complain about THIS? Have you seen the RNG in this expansion? Because that's the alternative, or waiting for the specific mentor missive or whatever they called it back in vanilla. They can't just give you them right off the bat, that would be dumb. But at least you are 100% guaranteed to be able to get these items relatively quickly, unlike anything RNG related (day 1 player, got gally 2 weeks before xur sold it). I mean the spindle daily has come up twice now the paradox has come up twice, people act like waiting a few weeks is the end of the world and it's just immature. Go work on something else. Shit I play almost every day and I have 1 character with pretty much nothing to do, the other 2 have plenty to keep me occupied.

I think the exotics that show up on random days are annoying and highly inconsiderate. One of my buddies can only play on the weekend so he has been unable to get any of the random event exotics that always seem to show up in the week.
