Female Gamers - Tired of being treated badly?
Are you a female gamer who gets pestered, bothered, harassed, threatened, insulted or all of the above?
There are lots of great guy gamers out there to play with but we all know there are some real jerks out there as well.
Reply/bump/like if you're a female gamer or a guy gamer who is cool with female gamers.
Female gamers are here, and here to stay. :) <3

2 通の返信The only time I get harassed is on these forums when I speak my mind. Whoops! But honestly I would rather be called a dick than some of the other much nastier names I've been called. So people can call me dude all they want, I am fine with that.

4 通の返信I'm a female gamer and feel that a lot of other female gamers like to advertise that they are female with their tags and are actually looking for the attention and then cry harassment, you don't really need to advertise your gender, I get messages with "dude" and other things from people that assume I'm male I never correct them

There's racist comments being tossed all over the place and boys get beat down by others for other reasons. Do you see them whining? This is why I can't stand the victim card. So frequently female gamers try to pull this victimizing bullcrap only proving how sensitive we're so known to be. It's the internet, why do you care if some guy tells you to go make a sandwich? Just respond with a witty, sarcastic comment and move on. The internet isn't a friendly place for anybody. And I'm aggressive towards other people do you think male gamers are tired of my bitchiness? No. They brush it off because honestly nobody cares. Gender doesn't define you as a gamer. That's why whenever I see a girl title themselves "gamergirl." I want to kick them in the vagina so hard they bleed for another 7 days.

I'm a guy so I don't really know how bad it must be for you. Honestly I think this deserves a huge bump though, we all playing the same game. We currently play with a very shy girl, we raid every week, she hardly speaks but we treat her with respect because she is one of us. I've just noticed there has been a steady incline to harassment in general over the forums and the game itself. Ready to drop the game just because the community is crap.

To be devil's advocate, you have to show some understanding though. They have touched only 2D paper & speechless versions of women - (Playboy). They get crazy when they hear the real thing!

2 通の返信As a guy I would like to say that girl gamers should not be treated as if they're useless I treat them the same as everybody else I also find it that girls are probably better than guys (even though I'm not saying they're the best at everything like us guys) to me girls seem to have a smart strategy at winning crucible or whatever while 60% of the guys would go in unplanned and just shoot the crap out of enemies. All I'm saying is that girls should be treated the same.

I can say as a guy that I don't condone berating woman or disrespecting woman, or anybody in that manner, (unless warranted) esp playin a video game, but I can say most the ppl that do berate ppl as a whole are looking for reactions, they want ppl pissed off, or want tears... which makes most females not want to communicate or participate fully cuz of that fact... it's bs, hopefully they start enforcing the ratings on games to ACTUAL mature ppl... I don't play destiny anymore, I end up on the forums everytime I read about them adding microtransactions to see ppl grief, and saw this thread... woman should be able to join a fireteam or group, chat and and immerse themselves without being asked what they're wearing, how many Dicks they suck or if they are on they're period or asked out on a date which is pathetic to say the least... just play, that girl just might be better than ur ass

I'm so used to being disrespected by guys when it comes to gaming..it just gets to a point where you don't give a shit anymore lol. I game because I enjoy it, been doing it my whole life, I'm good at it, and all of my closest friends are on psn.. As sad as that sounds. Haha! #lifeofagamer

I just wanted to vote, lel. In all seriousness, it's the gaming community, everyone practically beats the shit out of each other with trash talk. The insults [i]aren't[/i] just focused at you, haha. I tend not to throw around insults because I just play to enjoy the game. Girl, guy, eh. If you're fun, I'll play with you, regardless.

I have to laugh at this once when the girl revealed she was a girl on the game one of the guys started asking for her to set up a web cam and chat with him of cuase we all knew that he would probably show her over the webcam and what he would ask for they should not be asked , they should not harassed they should be teated as equals yet I 've herd of a girl film her self climaxing while paying in vs mode on a fire team for a web show which was pretty crazy.

1 返信Ive been playing this game since day 1 and I've only met 2 female players. They both were cool, I don't treat females any different than I do makes because I'm not a piece of shit. People that feel the need to belittle ANYONE is simply a piece of shit.

Anyone who plays games is a gamer whether you're a boy, girl, transgender, black, white, gay, straight, etc. You get the picture. As long as you don't act like a jerk, I'm fine with you. My girlfriend used to play destiny alot with me and with her friends if i wasn't on until her so called friends started being mean and sexist to her during a raid (they were guys). It bothered her ao bad she stopped playing. [spoiler]There is no difference between a girl gamer and guy gamer both are equal. [/spoiler]
