Once again you are not at all wrong. My comment was not to say destiny can't share traits. But you've taken the worst mmo trait (my opinion, so I understand if you disagree) and implemented that as your go to mmo standpoint.
If they had thought this whole concept out better, rather than breaking pieces up and feeding them to us, content wise. Providing little to start with, then taking it away, and giving us less, this concept of a game would likely have exceled. As stands now this game is a cash grab imho, nothing more.
It's fun, and I play it quite a bit. But that won't stop me from critiquing it. The end result of this is we have a half baked game with little progression elements past gear. No real skill trees or diversity. And little content to work with. Most people jump in to an mmo, for that, as well as the gear grind. 2 raids to 1, lots of strikes to 5, etc are steps backwards. An mmo like wow adds new content, and while gear does become obsolete, doing previous raids and missions don't. That's my point.
Well, Coil and Crystal Tower are worthless now. And I wouldn't really call the game a cash grab. However, one has to agree that things are far from perfect. 3oC farm being the only way of guaranteed success at some point. Better chance than raid at least. That is the thing I don't like about the game atm. If you're out of 3oC and Xûr is not here, you finished the raid 3 times, that's it. Stuck until Friday/Tuesday.
