if you play any crucible it is clear the new "Thorn and Last Word" are Red death and Bad Juju. the difference between this though is that legendary hand cannons weren't the op ones it was just the 2 exotics but in the case of the pulse rifles the legendaries are just as op. they are best at all ranges flinch everyone else more they they get flinch and can roll full auto making them low skill, low ttk weapons.
Do pulse rifles need to be looked at or should we wait another 9 months?
its funny how i never said nerf but that is what you guys go to, maybe if we want to leave pulses then the others need a buff.

They look at the numbers they collect from the many crucible matches played and act accordingly. Unfortunately if everyone is using the op weapons of the time, then the figures are not really worth much. Everyone using thorn and TLW, obviously they need nerfing but too few ppl using the other weapon types for real comparison. Bungie really need small changes implemented often. Big changes infrequently will always mean a lack of true balance. Especially when the change/patch is brought in at the same time as introducing a lot more new weapons.

The range and stability u could get on monsters like the hopscotch and messenger are unmatched, and the recoil patterns were up and down making it easy to get headshots. Now in ttk recoil patterns pull to the right or left on the most stable guns, like the hawksaw, nirwens mercy, the villainy, etc. Making it harder to get that last critical hit.

Its funny because hardly anyone at all used pulse rifles before they got an entirely unnecessary buff. I personally can't stand burst fire weapons so I never used to use them. Now Red Death pretty much stays on my Hunter and it tears anus in Crucible

5 通の返信They aren't even that good dude, hawksaw and scouts are all fairly balanced. ARs and HCs need a range buff. Not to what they were at before 2.0 but more than they have now. Aim assist should be lowered across the board. Besides that I say we are fairly balanced.

7 通の返信Hand cannon hit boxes need a buff. It's all kinds of weird. I notice that even though the reticle is on the target that the bullets don't hit a lot of the time. Weird. Also sidearms sometimes have bullet lag, but I get it with that gun type only.

I don't see red death often, and I see badjuju even less. I'm not worried about those 2. What I'm worried about is the rocket launcher my titan has. The suros Jlg 47 or whatever it is. Horse shows and rockets everywhere all over again. Thankfully it doesn't have tracking.

2 通の返信Honestly if you buff range on handcannons and ARs slightly and maybe a slight decrease in PR range everything will be good. Definitely a better meta. You can compete with most any weapon type.

2 通の返信Those those guns aren't overpowered honestly guys you're probably complaining because you're dying by that gun a lot now. That gun is easy to counter if you have good aim it's only a two to three shot burst depending on what range are at.
