Main thing I don't like though is increasing likelihood of drops, and buying items to increase your drops (moldering shards). Everything else is....not so much troublesome to me in my mind at least. Selling the lights is the worse thing they can do in other words. But the subclass stuff etc is fine by me if someone doesn't want to waste time leveling something, but giving someone better chances at RNG is messed up.

Im seeing too many excuses to make destiny a micro transaction based game. Bungie is smart, at first everyone said no to even cosmetics, but now they have people saying they dont care if you can buy an advantage in-game.

4 通の返信People who defend this policies must be a new kind of stupid .. These people breed and vote and consuming oxygen from the atmosphere .. Now to the subject.. I have the money to support a "pay to win" game but i choose NOT to do it because it's not FUN .. There is no FUN if i can BUY progress and skip through tons of playing hours .. We are allready paying some sort of subscription fee in the form of 3 month DLCs that make previous content obsolete.. I am an avid Destiny supporter on the forums but if this goes on i am done .. This is not where Destiny has to go.. Please don't make this one more of the crappy games that are out there .. You have a loyal fanbase here and a chance to build a decent franchise..

5 通の返信You seriously need to understand that every other company is doing this. Konami with insurance for your FOBs. EA with battlepacks... 343 Industries with cosmetics... (Sounds familiar) Plus more to come this winter, so silence yourself because they understand what they're doing, if you're threatening to leave if they do it, then why are you here? Why pull so much attention to yourself and try to rally others when everyone else already knows what they're going to do if this situation arises? So sit back down, play the game, and if they decide to make this absurd "Pay-to-Play" crap a reality, then leave. Its your choice, it'll be my choice too and I'll probably stay. You can say whatever you want, you can berate me, you can try to convince me, but I will not change because I am entitled to my own opinion. So as I said before, sit down, shut up and play the game and if something else pulls your attention, go complain to their forums.

3 通の返信After a lot of thinking, I'm not gonna quit if these micros are put into the game. Why quit? They're optional, and it's not like people who opt-in are getting BETTER stuff, it's just for late players who don't care to grind. I might actually buy those subclass shortcuts. My Titan and Hunter don't get enough love.

Some like the idea, and others don't. It will in turn lose a lot of players, but the players who don't care generally would buy the items anyways, which would make up for the loss of players. But you can't buy a community of players which can make the game die with the lack of players.

Has anyone else thought that maybe the Heuristic, Indomitable, and Valorous light are all Heroic raid drops? I under the impression there are suppose to be challenges in Heroic mode and without given weapons and armor what better to drop? These are the only consumables that concern me. Now the other 8 consumables I look at them like it is in WOW. You can jump into the game and play it from the start or you can pay to have your character leveled up to a certain point so you can get to the end game sooner. Plus no one would need those consumables other than new players unless they lowered experience rate.

If any game with bungi on it becomes pay to win I'll be selling my entire collection of matter chief memorabilia and literally everything I own that has bungie on it will be sold and promptly replaced with Bethesda

6 通の返信I really don't get why this is a big deal. If destiny can be a micro transactions game and people can buy exotics or consumables or whatever, that doesn't mean you have to. I have been playing since a week after it came out and never stopped or quit. I have bought all the expansions and plan to buy more expansions as they come out. The only way I would ever quit destiny is if they made it pay-to-play monthly sub. I have CHOSEN not to buy the emotes with the free silver that was gifted to me but that doesn't mean I won't buy more or spend that in the future.
