You really aren't seeing my point, to some people Bungie supporting anybody but straight people is a bad thing.

No, but they will not be supportive of Bungie and the forums will be a more toxic place. On the other hand, this is a war game and there is really no merit to depicting any sexuality unless it's a meaningful plot point.

Honestly I wouldn't consider a sexuality to be a personality trait and obviously there is still the Afro mentioned problems with the bigots who would spread hate if Bungie did this. However I wouldn't really be affected and as a result, don't really care.
