If I want to run out into the open and do the "bring it on" or a chivalrous bow emote in the beginning of a ToO match, I don't want to be shot in the head half way through my greeting lmao.

1 返信Let's make it a signal to wave right at the start of the match so we all know you're gonna do that when you come out. Problem is, it's my first instinct to start shooting when I see an enemy. I don't really know what they're doing until it's too late to stop. So if we had a pre-emptive signal for this, I think that'd help.

2 通の返信How about a gentlemen agreement where if you go negative KD and are the only one in the playlist to get a really awesome drop, while the dude who went 30-3 gets nothing, you dismantle it because you didn't deserve it.
I'm just messin! ;P
There was a "code of honor" type thing in Dark Souls, which about half of all PvPers followed. It worked pretty well in that game because you generally have a point at the beginning of the matchup where the two of you are at a fairly long distance from each other with fewer ways to potentially one - shot each other from range. Not many people will abide by this in Destiny. It's much too easy to pop someone's head with a sniper within milliseconds. The length of time it takes even for the most damaging spells to reach and kill the player character in Dark Souls allowed for a bit more reliable chivalry. In Destiny, I will pretty much guarantee that the first time you try to bow to a decent opponent, you'll get your head taken off before the animation can even start.
