i understand every mechanic in the raid
yet i can't seem to find a team that is willing to go with a first timer
i got one friend with the same issue
we both used to be sherpas in year 1
and now we are called scrubs
because no touch of malice or emblem
how the f*** am i going to get those ?
edit1 : i'm not here to ask for help
only addressing the issue
edit final: actually lying worked
after we killed oryx
i said i was a first timer

3 通の返信I agree it's so frustrating. My goodness. I helped so many people through last years raids, this year my buddies have all taken off to play other games - so I need to LFG more than ever. And of course, no one wants to raid with someone who hasn't yet completed it. Pisses me right off. Mind you, last night at the Daughters, everyone who "had raid experience" struggled to complete the torn between dimension jumping puzzle, I did it no problem. I honestly am beginning to resent the LFG community and Bungie for not having in game LFG tools because it leads to this dogshit.

1 返信I only require that everyone is a 500 paladin with a 9001 attack Gelatohorn when I try and find a group

daveg35により編集済み: 10/12/2015 5:43:14 AMThere are groups out there. Just not as easy to come by as the ones wanting experience. Grab a couple friends that have done it, and go the app for the rest and do the raid with your own group :) Just looked at your 296 character and you should be fine. Good luck on your first raid, it's a blast

Part of the problem also seems to be that Bungie updated the raid. I can tell you that last week the Warpriest was Light 297 instead of 280 or 290. My clan took this week off because we got two new people who were almost 40 and not ready to raid, so we were helping them. Honestly, I was 290 when I went, and part of the reason that I get invites is because my clan is small, but we can field most of a 6 man team. If it weren't for a clan of local friends, I doubt I could try to run the raid anytime soon either. I do agree that it is an issue, and I would like to see an in game lfg system implemented.

If you understand all the mechanics well enough just go to the forums and look for people with these requirements "At [checkpoint] Need one experienced 290+ (or maybe even 295 if your light is that high) Msg [gt]" Even though they're asking for experience just join if you truly know what to do as you say you shouldn't have a problem. That's what I did at least I never finished the raid it was just I kept getting shitty groups. But I finally got that one team that knew exactly what they're doing and we got it done 2nd or 3rd try. Now I run the raid three times on each character Trust me after the first kill the raid becomes so easy

5 通の返信Okay so this is a little over-concocted but it should work. Tell people that you've done all the raid but your team fell apart when Oryx glitched and went immune in the last phase and killed everyone. If you understand the mechanics well enough, you have to almost seem cocky to not give away the fact that you haven't done it before. I've never personally tried any of this, but I know how human psychology works. I was lucky enough to find groups of people that ran me through until I was experienced enough to actually start contributing. People on my friends list know each other and eventually word got around that I was one of those experienced people that couldn't complete it. I made it clear I just needed the emblem and we jumped in and did it. You'll get it man, I promise you.

1 返信Ummm beat the raid and find fragment and if you both so good finding few other ppl going first time should be easy

There are less groups willing to help because people have spent so many hours on it and just can't waste so much time again. There are a lot of groups of people who want new players. Make your own group if you won't put in the effort to find one. There is a way but you just have to try a little harder since you were late to the rush.

I know what you mean, I played with randoms for the 1st time in ages and they all commented on my ToM. Which made me believe that they haven't done the raid so I asked them and they gave my cryptic replies. Anyway they listened to the tactics and we got the full raid done in less than 2 hours. At the end I said 'be honest now, who hasn't actually done that before?' And 3 of them replied saying that was their 1st time because most people don't have the patience. We even had one experienced lad who quit at oryx because we wiped twice, best bit is when we replaced him we ad it done 20 minutes later. Hope you find a decent group mate!
