Sleeper simulant is actually really good
To all of you who say sleeper simulant needs a buff or it sucks sorry to tell you but you're wrong. The gun is meant to be used against single targets which when used against a single target it does more damage than both rocket and LMGS. The gun is fine the way it is.
Edit 1: why do people complain about the ammo? It carries more than rockets and each round does about 50% more damage than a single rocket. The ammo is fine.
Edit 2: Guys it's a single target weapon (aka boss killer). Stop trying to use it on adds it's not meant for that.
Edit 3: The perks just provide a CHANCE to hit others. The gun was meant for single targets not meant to be counted on to hit more than one target.

Edit 5: Last edit sleeper is a good BURST DAMAGE heavy meant for fights were you can only get a couple of shots of quickly and not continuous dps. Snipers will also out dps sleeper in the long run for bosses that were many to be fought like that (aka king's fall).

1 返信For the record it does solid single target damage, but pitiful multi target damage. It also does worse single target damage than exotic swords. The advantage is the range increase that you get over swords. Swords can be almost completely useless against a boss with one shot kill AoE melter attacks. So it is good in its place, but it can be completely worthless it other places.

If I want an exotic that can annihilate raid bosses, the Black Spindle much more consistent job, and that's just a special weapon, not a heavy. Hell, I'd take Jade Rabbit over the Sleeper.

1 返信It's not really good it's just good. Snipers can nearly match the damage and ammo won't be an issue. Stop disregarding issues to try and validate your own point. It's not terrible just not great and obviously over hyped.

5 通の返信Sleeper basically allows me to easily solo taken champions Sucks in PvP If there is anything I think needs to change about it 1. Ammo cap 2. Reduce or eliminate the charge time

Well a sniper bullet does pretty close to the same damage on critical hits. So that is a reason why people say it needs more ammo . You can use your sniper in place of it in many situations. It has its moments where it shines though. But crowd control nope.

10 通の返信Snipers are more useful for what SS is good for. There are no positives to it. Less ammo, less DPS, takes up an exotic slot. Useless.

3 通の返信Tbh snipers are just to op. I've thought for a long time that sniper damage is to high, sniper shouldn't do more damage than a heavy in any situation yet snipers do more damage than every heavy in the game. For boss fights and single target dps, sleeper + sniper will get you the most dps.

6 通の返信I would agree, but you need to use it right. using the 1 ball strat on golgoroth as a 296 I was getting over 120,000 or is it 1,200,000 per round. I was using a full clip then switching to sniper. was getting highest DPS on the team.

2 通の返信Sure it's fun to play with....but that's it really. It's just a gimmick gun, and isn't ever really the best option. Takes up your exotic, and heavy slot......and you can easily do more dps to a single target with any legendary High impact sniper....plus the sniper is usable and effective for lots of stuff. I like the sleeper & it's fun.....just isn't all that some people are desperately trying to make it out to be.
