Now first, let me start this off by saying I have played Sunbreaker for a while now and I think it's probably one of the best subclasses in the game, for PvE and PvP both. Now on to my position on this.
The Sunbreaker, while it may seem to be over-powered, is far from it. The reason? His super is the only thing he has. Besides his Super, none of the Sunbreaker's abilities are very good. A lot of the abilities/perks in the skill tree are based around his super, so yeah, it's gonna be a little powerful.

2 通の返信People keep saying its op, but I had a game where a Stormcaller cleared a room of 4 people with their super and barely had a scratch. And I've been one shot by Golden Gun while in HoS.

When trials comes out and you aren't trying to trade with the opponent and with the way the maps are tight corners (other than widows court) and long hallways is that a sunbreaker can Easily take out a whole team. Sure a blade dancer could as well but how many time have you put down an arc blade with a shotgun melee or even with a good shot from a sniper. Not with HoS and shotguns aren't even close to an option because of the ranged attack. The only thing I think needs to happen is the ranged attack needs to go from a 1 shot kill to 2 shot kill. I mean its a -blam!-ing titan I understand the armor capability. When trials reopens all of you will change your minds you will see that it isn't fair that you can't run from the titan because he can throw a hammer and hit you dead on. You will see that it'd hard to team shot a HoS because they can either rip you apart or once again throw a hammer and splash kill you all. You will see that self res is useless against it, blade dancer is no match, storm caller is no match. I mean go ahead use that FoH or nova bomb on that one titan. But let's be honest will you still be using FoH in crucible? Majority of ToO team will be all HoS titans now.

First off I main a hunter, I played a game of rift the other day on my Titan. First game I played went on a 25 killstreak and I know at least half of them came from super kills and I only used 2 supers. Its an op super and it does need a nerf.

I bet you thought Thorn and Felwinters were balanced too. Gtfoh. I can't wait for it to get nerfed hard so I can enjoy all of your tears. After releasing a super like this, you cannot possibly justify the the nerfs to any other super.

I don't think any classes actually need a HUGE nerf or buff. Every class has that one OP thing u have to hope that ur Loadout is good enough to defend against. If ur using year 1 supers against a team of year 2 supers...it'll be quite a match. I'm just jealous that the other classes can outrun a Hunter (you know, the class that's supposed to be the MOST agile and fastest but isn't unless they use every single speed perk on the Hunter and the other two have no speed perks) so easily. Bungie should separate PvP and PvE to make PvP more "balanced" without hurting PvE players like myself everytime something becomes too overpowered in PvP because a really good player showed noobs how to play their class too well.

7 通の返信Sunbreaker makes mayhem unplayable, and is still far and away the best class. And super is the only thing? -blam!-ing bullshit. Has fusions and the equivalent of flame shield. Has the best melee, best super and best grenade for PVP.

3 通の返信Hunter main here, and I am fine with the damage side of hammer time, I just want the deffence to be in line with every other super, unless they made a perk to increase The armor. U have to have a very specific set up to take out a titan with his super going or be running a sleeper. Not even bladedancers are this hard to kill and they are melee. Titans are the cinderhulking Thors that clear whole sides of a map with 6 or 7 fiery nova bombs.

3 通の返信It's not op but it is unbalanced. Personally they should have overwhelming armor as they are the tank class but as the tank class their offense should be weak. I think reducing the hammers lethality (splash damage and grenade/horshoe) would bring it in line as one of the best subclasses instead of the single best subclass. Sunbreaker should have better passive abilities and a weaker Super. It's not fair for them to be weaker 75% of the crucible game than any other class, but also unfair for them to be gods in Super mode.

Erm. Incendiary grenades are one of the best grenades in the game. An aoe grenade that can actually kill you. Fusion grenades are also one hit kills that lock on to targets. And every time you get a grenade or melee kill it heals you. And you have a DOT melee. Literally the only weakness of the class is limited melee range.

People are so inclined to flip a table when they hear the word nerf. Lol sun breakers have a fusion grenade that locks on to targets and a good melee. That just supports the fact they have an unbalanced super. You don't see anyone asking for a nerf on anything other than its super.

2 通の返信Hunter main here, i agree. Add to that it's pretty easy to run away fron HoS. Problem is almost everyone playing destiny os dumb as -blam!-! Ofcourse you're gonna die if you rush a hammer tank on fire, thinking that you can kill him with ur shotgun melee combo. Stormcallers has been much,much, much more a pain in the ass for me..
