Why the Sunbreaker ISN'T OP
Now first, let me start this off by saying I have played Sunbreaker for a while now and I think it's probably one of the best subclasses in the game, for PvE and PvP both. Now on to my position on this.
The Sunbreaker, while it may seem to be over-powered, is far from it. The reason? His super is the only thing he has. Besides his Super, none of the Sunbreaker's abilities are very good. A lot of the abilities/perks in the skill tree are based around his super, so yeah, it's gonna be a little powerful.

And good grenades, and pretty much the same melee the sunsinger has (albeit with less range)..... [i]titans have their wall, and their hypocrisy[/i]-cayde 6

6 通の返信Okay so let's take the sun singer with radiant skin and ram armour stats then make it so they can roam around with 10+ hammers that have the same potential as nova and then say it's balanced

3 通の返信You're not entirely wrong - an insanely OP super on an otherwise terrible class is exceptionally poor game design from Bungie. Which is why the inevitable nerf will not come in the form of number reductions, but rather removal of multiple perks related to the super, and replacement with perks that are more general to the class (e.g. get rid of heal on kill, replace with something more general)

7 通の返信Yeah dude if golden gun had 5-7 shots, highest armor in the game, and health regen on kill it would be balanced as well. Oh, you mean that [i]is[/i] unbalanced? Huh. Wonder what we can learn from that.

1 返信Considering your grimoire and light, I would think you haven't played this game for too long. Maybe try other classes/subclasses and see how they compare to the sunbreaker in both pvp and pve.

5 通の返信Ive been awake for 30 min and have already seen 3 "Sunbreakers arent OP" threads. I am now convinced that there was never any hunters complaining and that titans just needed an excuse to bi[b]t[/b]ch.

8 通の返信All you people complaining need to just shut up. Titans are by far the minority of the three classes and have been so weak in pvp compared to the other two until now. So just stop complaining and deal with it like we've had to deal with your bs for a whole year.

Tthe only negative this subclass has is the melee, due to the range. But let's take a moment to realize that melee definitely accounts for the least amount of kills in any given match. Grenades are top tier with Fusions and Incendiaries, the latter of which received a major buff. Grenades kills are far more common than melee. Movement is excellent. Lift is the best all-around movement ability in the game, and while it can be outdone by blink for instantaneous speed, it is also more versatile/reliable. Titans never have issues with positioning. Cauterize is superior to Bladedancer's Hungering Blade, since it allows you to get kills off of you super (which procs from a very fast projectile that kills in a freaking AoE) as well as your grenades and melee. Sunbreaker easily has far more opportunities to take advantage of this healing perk than Bladedancer. So on the contrary, not only is the subclass NOT subpar, but the neutral game is quite competent.
