Now who exactly is disappointed with SS?
I dont have it (yet), but it seems people weren't that all impressed with this somewhat hyped up weapon.

People are a little butt hurt that it's not gjally easy. Do do crazy damage with SS you really need to hit crit, so it's not the fire and forget damage monster everyone was hoping for... (I think that role will be filled by high damage rocket launchers in combination with the Taikonaut helm)

6 通の返信i am severely disappointed.. this is why when battlefront and bo3 drops ill be playing against jedi scum and against zombies the sleeper simulant was the last straw if you ask me about the failures to the destiny players seriously.. im over here expecting like 30-50k damage like the ghorn and its all based on a crit shot are u fkn kidding me ... and it doesnt even go up to 30-40k on a crit wtf

It was WAY over hyped, Spindle was perfect, we didn't know about, it was a nice surprise. The Spindle by no means is some amazing out of this world exotic, it's good and useful. The same can be said about SS but it was so hyped and surrounded by so much mystique and mystery that it wasn't going to live up to that unless it was a Gally 2.0. There were threads everyday for weeks, "SS clue!“ "Let's put our head together for the SS" and at the end of it all we get a pretty strong fusion rifle that'll do a good amount of damage on enemies with CRIT spots if you can be accurate. Meh.

It's a little underwhelming in pve. It's a badass pvp heavy though. Think golden gun that ricochets. Beam travels to target instantly no matter the distance as far as I can tell and goes through them and if you're lucky ricochets into more people.

I'm disappointed because the gjallahorns competition is a rocket launcher that has no kaboom and need to hit the head... Overall rating for the gun in my opinion 3/10 It's still fun to use but there's better exotics

2 通の返信IMO I think it's a pretty fun gun to use for messing around in strikes or patrol. One shots most majors in patrol and even the level 36 strikes. Two of us had them equipped and downed the undying mind in 3 minutes just about. I'm interested to see what the damage output on it would be during the Golgoroth fight while he's tethered. It was doing almost 30K crit on trash mobs in Dreadnaught patrol.

LoL - Not as great as Gjallarhorn but for some reason, much more fun to use. - Decent perks - Crappy ammo (ONLY 7 SHOTS?!) - The Most DAMAGE I've earned on one shot from this weapon was 312,119 on a critical hit LOL!!
