Now who exactly is disappointed with SS?
I dont have it (yet), but it seems people weren't that all impressed with this somewhat hyped up weapon.

I wasn't expecting much (read: not hyped prior to use) - I just test-ran it against various targets and the results were disappointing. It has great burst damage, but fails in sustained DPS. So, for the raid, it's complete trash. In Crucible, I found that the machine gun offered more reliability in killing the target, since SS simply has far too much recoil to guarantee a hit. Also, the ammo received by a machine gun will allow far more kill opportunities than the SS's limited ammo. In conclusion, the aesthetics are wonderful and the lore behind it is interesting, but in the end - it's trash when compared to the alternatives. A sniper can land more damage over multiple shots than a SS's ammo reserves. Here's what I found: Black Spindle > SS Touch of Malice (in raid) > SS Any machine gun in Crucible > SS Sorry to any who were thinking it was going to be some sort of Gally - it's not. It does ONE thing VERY well - BURST DAMAGE. That's it.

31 通の返信I'll say it once agian; 'microtransactions distraction' The community go's bananas over microtransactions, so what do they do!? Yes that's right let's give 'm the one thing there looking for.

The only reason people find it to not be that great is because a bunch of people tried hyping it up after Gally got nerfed and said it would be the year 2 Gally. The gun has its perk and all around is not bad, people are just disappointed it's not as good as gjallahorn and cannot beat some bosses as they used to be able to in the past

2 通の返信Nope not mad nor disappointed, I like the gun, the design and all but the ammo capacity could be a tad bit more but just going have to adjust to it and move on, Sexy gun only hope we have the ability to put shaders on certain guns 😊 lol

4 通の返信nothing to complain about, was an easy task to get it and it kills Lvl 41 Ultras pretty damn fast. From what I understand in the Weapon Details this is not the final gun, it is still in progress.
