sleeper simulant ghorns competition? ha I don't think so
Everyone that is going crazy over Sleeper Simulant should stop right now (that means you YouTubers). I remember GameInformer made an article in the summer saying Sleeper Simulant is Ghorns competition. Well they are WRONG. Number 1: it's a fusion rifle. The only good fusion rifle in the whole game is Telesto. Otherwise, any other fusion rifle in the game is trash. Why? Because Bungie thinks that fusion rifles were op and they nerfed them. Number 2: We have seen the exotic swords, I'm pretty sure they will be the best exotic heavy in the game. I love my Raze Lighter and I won't replace it with a stupid heavy fusion rifle.
EDIT: it's so funny seeing all the people who are trying to defend Sleeper... haha I'm dying over here. gotta love little kids
EDIT 2: yes i know i havent used the gun yet but im all set with my exotic sword and the other exotic swords i will have soon. i dont like fusion rifles that much besides telesto (i did kinda have fun with vex but it wasnt the best in pve). say what you say about SS but for me, i got my exotic swords
FINAL EDIT: look, it's my opinion, you guys may think it will be good but for me, I don't think SS will be good. I prefer my Raze Lighter

People all have different tastes, that is not a ground for evidence to support your claim. I do not know if the Sleeper Simulant will compete the Gjallahorn, but I do know I love Fusion Rifles, and a Heavy one is going to make me giddy as -blam!-. Especially in the Raids, where the Wizards are Solar for the most part.

5 通の返信This is the thing. Black Hammer did more single target damage than Gjallarhorn did if you could keep pelting your enemy in the face (and the enemy had a crit spot.) Gjallarhorn has good single target raw damage with crowd control potential. What does Sleeper Simulant have? It has the highest single target crit damage in the game. It's a very good weapon for when you need a specific target very dead. It has the potential to wipe out large amounts of enemies as well in a bottleneck if such opportunities occur. Sleeper Simulant is a GOOD weapon, not the BEST weapon. All these weapons catering to different situations and playstyles, I don't think we're going to have a best "all around, always use this weapon, this weapon is a requirement for everything endgame" exotic anymore and really, that's how this game should stand. Sleeper Simulant is no Gjallarhorn 2.0, but it is a beast within itself that has a lot of potential that's being overlooked.

You admit you dont like fusion rifles but you make a thread about them being bad. I am curious as to what you hope to achieve with your thread. After all you defeated your own post by stating your bias. Do you expect players to read your post and decide that they dont like fusion rifles too? Do you expect discussion to ensue from your post, but you dont put anything up for discussion. You dont ask anything. I think its more likely that you are 15yrs old, overweight, definitely single and probably opening your 4th large bag of Doritos today and drinking yet another diet coke while reading this in the basement of your parents house. This may not be you, its just how you sound. Your post is meaningless, it was a waste of bytes. The energy expended on typing it would have been better spent picking your nose, removing snot from your nostril would have more intrinsic value than your post though I suspect the booger could probably write a better one than you ever would. Your post is right up there with those others polling useless questions like whether you pick your nose before or after you wipe your touche. I suspect that most of these useless threads/posts are just so you can see something you have typed on the screen, as far as I can tell they serve no other meaningful purpose. Apart from making most people shake their heads in abject misery about the decline of the internet because we made it easy for imbeciles such as yourself to access it and fill it with garbage. After you have tried the sleeper simulant I would be interested to see if you can surprise us and provide an objective review of it. I know you dont like fusion rifles but that shouldn't matter to an intelligent person, you can still assess it. I personally dont like the swords, I have one though so in that we are different. It has its uses but too many scrubs try and kill everything with it and just keep dying. In a game about guns, mechanics/gameplay all centre around guns. A sword is just a novelty and I cant help but feel they got the idea from warframe where it is done better. I have also seen games that are melee weapon based introduce a gun and everyone goes crazy, novelty nothing more. Like I said though, I am not crazy about them but they occasionally have their uses, just not as much as the scrubs believe.

5 通の返信At 290 weapon, and personal 303 light I'm hitting heroic strike bosses for 16-20k white damage and 21-25k with my bow. Not op but pretty decent. For sheer math, if I get head shots with my LMG, using all 132 rounds at 1155 a hit, I'm looking at 157k dmg, with sleeper at 7 rounds x 25k dmg I'm looking at 175k dmg. If I pick up some heavy ammo/fusion ammo armor I could go up to 10-12 rounds for sleeper. 12 rounds plus bow plus weapons of light I'm looking at 31k dmg a shot on heroic bosses. X12 rounds = 372k dmg. LMG head shots with bow/wol = 1455 a shot, x132 = 192k dmg. In a perfect world, sleeper does significant more dmg then my Ruin Wake LMG and has decent range.

I think Ferraris are over hyped and rubbish as well! What? No I don't have one and have never driven one either. How do I know they're rubbish? Not sure, its just my opinion based on nothing, but its my opinion so you can't say I'm wrong! [spoiler]see how idiotic that sounds now?![/spoiler]

I only have the Telesto for my special, everything I have is set for my character at the time, so really as soon as I equip it, my light level goes down, because i had to get rid of my Telesto (well, unequip it) and now my light level has gone down from 295 to 291

24 通の返信It's more than average imo. It hits like a damn truck (I hit a 30,000 crit on a random knight), but it's ammo capacity is horrendous. You can't do much with only 7 shots.
