3 of coin is worthless
I just used a lotttt of coins on a boss fight. I think the scientific name is "shit ton". And It gave me a purple. Don't waste your coins on this item.

You don't mean you used a load of coins on one boss do you? If so you just wasted all but one of them . They "stack" chronologically, use one, if that doesn't drop an engram use another on the next boss and so on. Each time your chances increase so usually by 6 or 7 it's a complete certainty.

Go into strike playlist pop a coin before each boss fight. Sometimes it helps your drops sometimes it doesn't. It's a higher chance to drop exotics not guaranteed. Personally it's what helped me get to 290 in one night.

I used one 3oC on the Cerberus Vae strike and got 2 exotics from the taken Minotaur boss that replaced the tank in the middle. A Monte Carlo and another Hereafter. So far I've gotten an exotic for every 3 3oCs I've used. 8 exotics total from around 15-18 coins. If it's not working for you, try doing the lvl 20 strike playlist and use a coin at the start of each strike then after you kill an ultra. If you don't get an exotic after say 5 strikes then I don't know.

They're not a waste. You just used them wrong. Just once per boss. If you're above 300 light then you get w chance at 310 exotics which can be used to infuse gear you currently have I.e raising your light level.

2 通の返信ToC is quite simply the BEST way to spend Strange Coins! You only use one at a time. The buff shows up on your character screen in a triangle with "IX" (9 for those of you who don't do roman numerals) on it. After you kill the boss, the buff goes away. Either you did or did not get an exotic drop. If you did not, the next time you pop a ToC the chances of an exotic dropping are higher than they were before. This works and I've received plenty of drops - most recently the new Invective and 2 redundant pairs of exotic gauntlets for my Warlock. Even redundant drops are useful as they can infuse lower level legendary gear.

2 通の返信Just use 1 coin at the start of a strike. If you dont get a drop, use another one at the start of the next strike. I get a drop around every 3-5 strikes. The only problem I have with the coins, is that the drops are always the same sh[b]i[/b]t over and over again.
