All the constant strike quitting is bullshit, been trying to get an emblem and shader for a while with no luck, and it seems most strikes I'm soloing or running with one other person because someone always leaves right at the start which makes everything take longer than it should.
So I was wondering if anyone else thinks there should be a penalty for leaving like that? Maybe leaving early would negate any boss drops on the next strike, or at the very least give some sort of debuff that greatly lowers the drop rate on the next boss you kill.

4 通の返信Why the hell are you people intent on punishing the player for bungie giving shitty strikes selection and randomisation??? Sometimes this community can be so petty and narrow minded.

if the buff for consecutive strikes did something more useful people wouldn't leave as much, so that way these turds that are too noob to beat the "mind" strikes would actually stick it out. it would be nice if the buff awarded one more engram every so often so if you do a dozen strikes you would at least end up with a couple dozen engrams. 30 engrams in 2-3 hours sounds good.

Penalty for quitting would be stupid, and I hate it when people quit. The real problem is the bullshit matchmaking. Go to orbit, get a full fireteam in seconds, but someone quits and it takes 20 minutes to get a replacement. If they would fix that then there really wouldn't be a problem.

I wouldn't say quitting one strike should get you a penalty because life does happen. But there should be a system where if you quit multiple times in an hour you get locked out. And the more often you get locked out the longer it is. Example: if someone is quitting one time every hour, let it slide. But, say someone has 3 quits within an hour of eachother, they get locked out for 15 min. For the rest of the day every quit becomes a 30 min lockout. Now if they don't quit anymore for 24 hours they have another 3 strike quits to use. But from that point on every lockout is an hour. Now say this person stops quitting completely for an entire week. Now the punishment system resets. This way people who have things pop up don't get punished unfairly. And let's be honest, if you have to quit 3 times in an hour because life happened then you should be far too busy to worry about playing a video game anyway.

5 通の返信No. There are many valid reasons someone needs to leave. 1) didnt hold down y fast enough to leave from the previous game. 2) teamates are trash and keep dying. 3) real life happens. 4) friends invite them to another activity. 5) they dont like your username. 6) other people being afk 7) people slowing down the strike trying to get class emblems. 8) trying to farm a specific heroic strike and not getting it. 9) they dont like a strike. 10) they ran out of doritos. 11) internet crashes. 12) tv catches on fire (happened to me playing COD, not fun) 13) they realized they forgot to pick up bounties. 14) etc

3 通の返信No. They take 15 - 20 minutes each and maybe I sometimes have real life commitments to take care off. Kicking afk people though (those that join a strike then don't move an inch after spawning) needs to be implemented so they can be replaced with somebody useful.

Console Shooterにより編集済み: 10/4/2015 6:37:27 PMIf you quit a strike in a row One = 5mins cool down Two = 15 mins Three = 30 mins Four = 1 day Also you should have to deal damage to something every 2 mins or else you get booted and it counts as a quit.

2 通の返信- do Heroics - get turbo Shanks strike - 2 guys insta quit - I struggle for 15 minutes wiping trying to solo Warsat and nobody joins - I quit Why should I be penalized?

Yes there should be a 15 minute cool down if you quit. Most ppl quit because they can't run through a particular strike in 5 minutes. The argument of "real life commitment" comes from these particular quitters. If you actually have to go do something then you won't even notice this cool down. But you don't have anything to do. You're just a lil bitch.

Yeah, give them like a 10 minute ban from re-entering the playlist or something like that to stop people from trying to "pick and choose" what strikes they want to do. Also, make matchmaking actually put more focus on finding people for strikes in progress. Lastly, add every strike to the heroic playlist.

Bryceにより編集済み: 10/4/2015 6:25:58 PMThe overwhelming yes is astounding. I guess that's what you get on a gaming forum. Some people have lives and things to do. It's not that big of a deal anyways. Strikes are casual and if you want to grind strikes hardcore, get some friends. All strikes can be solo'd easily anyways. And yes I'm going to continue to quit The Undying Mind every time (there's s reason they took it out of the Dragon rotation) Also this is a perfect example as to why matchmaking would never work for raids

Trajikにより編集済み: 10/4/2015 6:21:51 PMThey simply need a better system for getting that person replaced quickly.. I seem to have pretty good luck with the consecutive strike buff.. I find it strange people let it go so easy. (Probably the same people that say 3oC doesn't work)

There was one day when I was doing the quest where you have to complete 5 heroics, and all five of them I had to complete with 2 people. Really annoying, and the bond brothers proved to be rather difficult when someone dies
