Second there is no night on the sun because the sun cannot go behind itself to create a night. Finally a body of plasma has no solid surface to stand on and anything built close would be incinerated because of the temperature.

Sun == Star != Planet How would we explore what is essential a gas giant? Oh, I know a ship in orbit that can be walked on. Hence, Saturn and Dreadnaught. Anyway, let's all go wallk on the sun. Besides everyone knows it's not the surface that's hot, it's the atmosphere.
