I sliced him up and said, 'I might as well kick it'. Immortality, yo this is great My own dimension inside of a Dreadnaught in space Is this what a god of a race be living like? Hmmmmm this might be alright. But wait I hear of humans, guardians, all that Is these the kind of people that're trying to kill this cool cat? I don't think so I'll send my son out there first I hope they're prepared for the King of the Hive Well, the Dreadnought landed and when I came out There was a chick who looked from the 80's with a fleet of ships out I ain't trying to get killed yet I just got here I shot lasers with the quickness, they all disappeared I whistled for guardians and when they came near They were flying Hive ships and had Ir Yut's clothes If anything I could say that their gear wasnt rare But I thought 'they killed Crota' - 'the prince of my Hive' I pulled up to Saturn about 7 or 8 And I yelled to the guardians 'Yo skrubs smell ya later' I looked at my Rupture I was finally there To sit on my throne as the King of the Hive

As I sat next to the fire I heard them regale My fireteam began telling their tale To the passingby Guardians come near for protection Of their origin story, their Ghost resurrection "I was on Earth inside an old car But in the middle of nowhere, a road was quite far My Ghost was perplexed, only traveling through When in the forest it saw the car's blue The car hit a tree, in an unusual location Parked atop its branches, is where I spent my duration It sits there now still, forever a mystery Of how I found myself dead king of a tree But my story does pale in light of our friend's, Who just sat down and heard story's end" They turned towards me, awaiting my tale So I sighed and explained mine began with a wail: "I heard my Ghost explaining over screams and gunfire That our situation was more than just a bit dire A monster stood before me, four arms and teeth bared I did not know then that it was quite scared The room filled with ether, my first breath a choke I punched its head in and ran through the smoke While guns were firing it were not really nearby The creatures stood near me were all rather surprised It turned out my bones were a Baron's collection A prize he won or won not, there's no recollection My skull was a trophy he wore on his neck Until the Ghost snuck onto the Baron's ship's deck He brought me back before the Fallen could prepare For the Guardian's assault, which is what I heard downstairs I ran toward the gunfire per Ghost's hurried commands And found myself fresh air and into Guardian hands They stood there confused regarding this addition A naked Awoken who had finished their mission The Baron was dead, and that's how it started Me joining their team, as we departed."

Oryx was born a girl with two sisters Their race was a-sexual no need for the misters. Tiny and frail they sought to survive They even used space worms to help them to thrive But the worms were so hungry it made their lives rough. Their wisdom and cunning and war weren't enough So oryx killed the sisters and came to the worm And slew the worm too for all the trouble he'd earned And so it became that the darkness had shapen Its new heir and champion, the king of the taken. Oryx brought back the sisters through description and praise And taught them to use darkness with symbols and phrase They waged mighty war against the sky and the orb Hoping in the end, its light they'd obsorb But fail as they did, for the orb had fled Oryx vowed to catch it with much anger and dread For if he should fail, then HE'D be consumed By the hungry worm inside of his tissues. But it promised him wonders and that everything was fine: "You need not be afraid... Oh bearer mine."
