So there's a sleeping guardian in the colony ship.
If you play the "cayde's stash" mission to the end, before you scan the warp drives, there's a pod containing a sleeping gaurdian that you can scan. Your ghost then gives dialogue
Spoiler of what your ghost says: [spoiler]Pod #10201. A guardian with exceptional Light sealed himself inside. He's been in there for centuries. Before I found you, I tried to ressurect him, but he preferred to sleep. He said the last war was enough for a thousand lifetimes.[/spoiler]
Is there any grimoire hinting at who he could be?

Obviously, most people theorize that this Chief, possibly a reference to the fact that Bungie didn't want to make more Halo games. Let's look at the history of Bungie. We all know the partnered with MS to bring Halo to the world, it was a beloved game. But after Halo 3, even though they teased at Chief finding the Forerunner planet (reference legendary ending post credits), they felt that Halo was played out and didn't want to continue the story. The only way out of their contract really though was to hand over the IP to MS. Now look at the dialog, the ghost wanted to awaken this "Guardian", but he said the last war was enough for a thousand lifetimes. My best theory is that this is a Bungie easter egg, basically saying that they made Destiny, because they felt Halo was at a good stopping point, and it was time for a new hero, and a new story. Thoughts?

6 通の返信Maybe halo 5 is the story of how chief gets in that pod, and then in the domain videos, you find a code to access an item in destiny, and you open that pod, and you get the "magnum" exotic sidearm.

3 通の返信That's bull. The ghost was all "oh baby I've been looking for you for centuries. I thought I'd never find you but I did, now we're together" Then it turns out you were the backup. The second choice. He settled..... I'm so hurt

3 通の返信WHERE?! I kept getting the stupid Ghost beep thing when something scannable is near but couldn't find it to save my life! It's been driving me crazy!
