Just killed ecthar as part of the exotic sword quest...
So I've just killed ecthar in the asylum as part of the quest, and now I need relic crystals.. Apparently they're found in relic iron but after finding loads, nothing is coming up. Don't suppose anyone has any ideas?
Edit: I've now managed to do it after hours of grinding.. I went onto the dark beyond mission to grind the (in this case) void kills. I've also attached a video showing how to kill Ecthar if you're at that stage.
I understand that there are apparently other ways to get into the asylum. One of which is using one super to kill all 3 knights.. This isn't true as from seen in the video i didn't use one super. Another rumour is that you just need to kill them really fast. This could be true as I did kill them fast! So by all means try it without using solar, ark and void and see what happens :)

Use the zone trick. Makes it faster. Find a relic thats on the edge of a zone. Open it fly out of the zone and back in and taaadaaaa. You can open it again. If nobody is in the zone you can do this till the end of time.

1 返信I know this is about ecthar but you mentioned dark below to get ability kills siege of the warmind is much better someone recommended it and now I'm on my way to my 3rd sword

8 通の返信Just out of curiosity: does anyone know if, after obtaining the Exotic sword, you get the ability to keep your legendary sword? (I am thinking for when you want to use a special or primary exotic as opposed to an exotic sword) The swords are cool but I'm not sure I want it to take up my exotic slot over other things...

1 返信a way easier way to do this is to get them all down to low health and then use your new subclass to kill all of them. you have to kill them before your supercharge runs out. I know this works because i just did it on my warlock arc class and my friend did it with his solar titan

O Exiled 0により編集済み: 9/22/2015 7:25:46 PMI used the sunbreaker super, killed all 3 with it and the gate opened for me. For the sol edge. I farmed 99 helium and got 10 soliton flares. It is just random when you get them. I also got 3 flares in a row one time.
