Destiny was pretty bad, but could've been improved with TTK. instead, not only did they drop the ball with TTK, they screwed the pooch that screwed the ball.

Because you can't hit level 40 without it, meaning you can't participate in all of those activities now requiring that level. Activities that came with content already purchased. You can't even play most of Crucible anymore (I didn't anyway, because it was horrendous) because the TTK content is being run on it, limiting you to barely anything.
-
Because Destiny was easy to hop into, perhaps? Besides, I didn't pay £75 for a non-subscription game, only to find out one year later that what I paid for is locked away behind another £40. People should not be denied what they already own just because something new came out.
-
That makes no sense. If I buy expansions for other games, it doesn't lock out the base content. Destiny was not advertised as subscription based in any way. Hiding it as expansions is tantamount to deception and false advertising, and forcing people to buy a little bit of new stuff for stupid prices just to be able to access most of what they already own, when Destiny was explicitly stated not to be subscription based, is disgusting. It simply highlights Bungie's lying nature even more.
-
It costs £40 here. That's $60 and the price of a new full game. And I'll judge a game based on its actual unique content rather than its repetition. You can play Pong for a thousand hours if you wanted to. Got about the same variation as Destiny. Btw, Bungie are as much to blame as Activision. If you don't believe that, go read about how the composer was fired and look up the actions of the Bungie CEO. They've lied about things since before day one and did it with a straight face to boot.
-
The firing of the composer was Bungie's lowest point in my eyes and the realization Bungie is now Destiny, a very large studio with 600 employees, little time for artistic integrity and many deadlines to be met. Destiny is a good game, but nothing at all the adverts prior to launch had me imagine it would be.
-
If you think Pong has as much variation as Destiny, you're just simply pissed off at Activision and you're trying to make Bungies game look as bad as possible. Go play Pong for all anyone on this forum gives a shit. I wouldn't want you in my game.
-
I think everyone that bought Destiny should've known from day one that this is supposed to be a 10 year game and that there're gonna be a lot more DLC's to come. If you didn't know, do your damn research. Only took me 10 seconds.

This is very fun to read!!! And all comes with the same price!!!! i agree they should offer the same content to all platforms while i don't care since I have all platforms just for fun (ps3,4 xbox360/one nintendo...) i think we should have all the same fun, and potentially to allow cross platform interaction-gaming that will increase the fun!! i would think 40 or make it worst lets say $100 a year for hours of fun :) is not bad when i can drop $200 in a dinner and maybe 100 in movies or in a bar in the same night, so i see 100 is not that bad!!! I can claim it as saving project i will stay more at home and less in bars!!! if they don't like the game... The door is wide open look for another game (and PLEASE PLEASE.... READ IF IT IS OFF-LINE GAME if there are some..., else a year after with the new release you will have the exact same problem that you have today) LOL Peace!
