First off, let me say that no one gives a shit if you're balling in cash. Let's be honest if people were as rich as they claim they probably wouldn't be on a forum for some shitty game. So this isn't about whether you can afford it or not, considering mostly everyone on here can spare $20. This is about buying some stupid overpriced virtual item.
Put this into perspective, these dance moves and class items cost more than any call of duty DLC (4 MP maps and usually a kick ass zombies map) more than any Battlefield DLC (4 mp maps and loads of guns and camo) and pretty much more than any DLC for any game on the market.
Now, if you support the idea of paying money for literally nothing in return to a company that made you pay $100 to play a beta of a shitty game then leave now because I don't want you on my post.
I know the desticle fan girls are instantly going to come to defend their shitty, overpriced game because I hurt their fragile little egos. The sheep will continue to throw away money on this game no matter that bungie/activision does.
If you don't want to see these, idiotic, overpriced micro transactions in every game from now to the end of time, do not buy this add on.
It's not really about the money seeing as $20 isn't a whole lot for most gamers. It's the fact that this DLC costs even more than some games (Minecraft: $19.99). If you really have that much money to throw away, why not donate to charity as it would be a hell of a lot more helpful to society then buying virtual dance moves.
Anyway that's my two cents on the issue. If you already bought it or were planning to anyway then this post probably won't change your mind. But if more people openly show that they're against this ridiculous business practice then maybe we can save the gaming industry from what seems to be the inevitable.
Any and all sheep that blindly defend this game like it's their first born will be muted. Even if you don't defend the game and want to get muted anyway just ask nicely and I'll try to get around to you.
Aside from the "you're all sheeple" tone, I broadly agree. Paying that much for novelty value is ridiculous. Also, Bungie are undermining their carefully constructed world with jokey, modern meme references. Good job.

Why did you waste time getting on the Destiny app, coming to the Destiny forums, and typing an anti-Destiny rant for Destiny players to read? The emotes are a bit overpriced, but who really cares what Joe and Jane spend their money on? Capitalism at its finest, don't be the "sheep" you're talking about and blindly ignoring the fact that all video games are just pixels that we pay for. So what if Bungivision is bleeding people dry? They will still pay, no matter how much logic you put in front of them. You're just wasting your own precious time, attempting to "save gaming". There is no saving gaming. I'm sure I'm wasting my time too, because you'll just blindly lash out at me, without properly thinking about what I've said. Fans will throw money at something they like. Bungie has crafted a world (that is obviously not for you) that people like. Get over it. Delete this app, stop playing the game, stop shitting on people for buying emotes. Don't you have bigger fish to fry? Childhood leukemia needs a cure, get on it buddy. :)

Come on man you know you were going to get so much hate for saying that and you were being really rude and this is the destiny forums did you need the make that comment on this thread. what are you going to accomplish by saying this?

Then go play something else and stfu. How about putting that much effort and vigor towards a good cause instead of worrying what a damn video game company does?? Wtf does it matter. Maybe you can start your own video game company and make a game exactly like destiny but make sure you do everything they didnt do and what they should have done and put itin your game?

4 通の返信Why don't people bitch about this in other games? Like $30 skins in LoL, $100 mounts in WoW, and god knows how much you can get for some -blam!-ing rainbow knife in CS:GO. Haven't heard anyone complain about it there. How about in Call of Duty? They released purchasable guns and camos, 2 dollars a pop. That's the same as it is for an emote in Destiny. People bought all the camos in CoD and I didn't hear anyone complain. Then we get to destiny and you asshats are up in arms about it. Cosmetics have always costed this much, and even more in some places. It isn't about how much they're worth compared to DLC, it's about how much it means to you.

3 通の返信Who are you to the gaming industry? I was probably playing games when you were still a load your mother almost swallowed. I'll buy emotes and support destiny all I want. You're welcome for the free content I just bought you scrub.
