It's not garbage. I still use it and it rocks. Again, remember that is has double hip fire perks. You are supposed to be rewarded at close range with hip fire. It simply does not work long or medium range with the recoil it has and that is fine. My guess is you were getting out gunned at the ranges it is no long capable of killing at. However, TLW is supposed to be a shot gunners worst nightmare and needs to be adjusted accordingly. People using Pulse Rifles and Scouts are safe, in so far as they can maintain range. AR's should have an even chance or a leg up at close range. It isn't so bad that you can't make it work. I get the job done, but I don't take on range weapons at their choice distances with TLW. I use a sniper rifle for that. I think you're a little more bitter about it than I am. I can always use MIDA or some other high RoF scout with insane aim assist (that's right, MIDA is doing you aiming for you), but I prefer up close and personal without a cheesy shotgun.
