Work for bungie? Did you ever complain about someone having field scout on their gun? So Unbalanced yet it was entirely possible to go into the vog and get the same gun. Or better yet reroll for field scout on an iron banner weapon. Only people that feel this is unbalanced are HoW newbs who never picked up a year 1 spear or jolders.

Been playing since Beta, and no I don't work for Bungie, sorry to burst your bubble. Am I a little bummed about losing it on some things like Corrective Measure? Sure. But it makes sense as it fits exactly what was described as being a very strong perk with no drawback. People running around Crucible with 46 rounds in a mag of Jolder's for example, is something that I won't miss, and I have 2 of them. If you can't realize and accept that A LOT of Y1 weapons were overpowered (AKA - having them almost always be the best possible choice to use) then you're in denial. There should not be perks that push weapons to such heights that EVERYONE is going for the same load-out.

Also, who's fault is it those weapons were the best option to use? I believe that would fall to the lazy weapon and perk design introduced in the HoW. It's easier to put out a lousy product then design great guns. Even crota guns were great and were an option over "overpowered" vog weapons. Why not make new guns an option over those? What was the reason to have shank burn and no other perk on a gun earned from SKOLAS of all places. Just bad design, and a flat out slap in the face.

MindEntropyにより編集済み: 9/9/2015 3:19:29 PMIt's not always the best perk on a weapon believe me and before I spent nearly 60k in glimmer on my jolders to have field scout with the other perks I wanted I rolled with hammer forged. Another perk that doesn't exist. A lot of perks in the center column used to always give benefits without taking anything away. It used to be a choice between, do I want range, fast reloads, stability or increased mag sizes. Now it's I have to sacrifice range or mag size to get stability. Nerfing field scout won't change machine gun sprees in the crucible. You give one example. People will just use a perfectly rolled btrd which has a default 47 round mag. If you're example was the reason for the nerf they could've simply set a cap to low rof machine guns and left the rest of the weapons alone. But your example is not the reason for the nerf. It's to make everyone trash their old weapons to make room for their new mediocre ones.
