If you don't PvP in this game I don't understand what keeps you playing it a month after an expansion releases. Seriously without trials I have no idea what the point of logging in would have been for the past 2 months.
Doing bounties, accumulating packages getting new stuff leveling new stuff. Hell of a lot more fun and less frustrating than getting sniped across the map by shotguns.
To what end? I do bounties daily in the crucible because there's always a weapon I want to upgrade so I guess I can agree with you there but farming rep for packages that 99% of the time have nothing new or useful in them (and that take a relatively long time to get) does not seem anywhere close to being as fun as working as a team to compete with others for an awesome reward (trials). Then again, I'm pretty good at it but I guess if you don't have decent internet or just aren't good at online shooters it might not be very enjoyable. I'm just saying if I didn't have PvP destiny would be a lot easier to put down. Personally think it's one of the most fun mp experiences on console - other games do individual things better but I think destiny as a package is the best offering on the market right now.
As a whole yes. Destiny is one of the best games I've been able to play. The pvp elements destroy it though. I can hold my own in its pvp and usually go 1.0 but the sheer amount of bs with the games awful weapon balancing, Ttks comparable to cod and couple it with garbage grade servers and its just a frustrating cluster
I enjoy all aspects of the game it's just PVE doesn't have as much lasting enjoyment to me
And based off your medal score you haven't really given pvp a chance
