The really dumbed-down version of it is that the Bible says what happened and science explains it. Of course as humans we can't figure out the exact science to it though. If God is literally an all knowing being in an exalted, more purified form than man, then of course it will all make sense to him and he will be able to do such miraculous things. You have to remember that the people who wrote the bible had much smaller understanding of science than the average 5th grader and nowhere does it say anything along the lines of, "God snapped his fingers and bam stuff happened with space magic"
