What is your favorite and your experience? After a lifetime of disregarding star trek as "boring" I started watching TNG last year, starting with season 3 at a recommendation as I heard (and later learned) that season 1 and 2 are absolute schlocky garbage. Oh my god its so great. I'm on season 3 of DS9 now with plans to check out the original series next. Great stuff. Though I hear voyager and especially enterprise are pretty bad. And yes I didn't include films or the animated series. I feel those break from the essence the shows contain.
