By all means we can figure out more hosts for Raid Wednesday! Right now, having the Admins host activities is simply to create a form of structure in case people can't decide what to do. It also helps the Admins stay active with the members of the clan. For Raid Wednesday specifically, I think it would be great to have more than just the one host that we technically have now (this week is Sunban1521). There are a couple things to keep in mind while figuring things out however: [b]1) Relic Wielder(s) and Sword Bearer:[/b] For obvious reasons, we'd need to make sure that someone could always run these roles. I know Sunban and I are 100% confident running either of these roles in any capacity, and I'm fairly certain Jauger could run these as well, if need be. Having one of us three host guarantees a (relatively) smooth experience in regards to arguably the hardest roles to play in the Raids. I'd prefer if any other hosts we have could be proficient in wielding at least one of these relics so that way there would be no concern regarding those mechanics in the Raid. [b]2) The Gorgon Maze, The Abyss, and other general navigation:[/b] Maybe not as important as the first point, but it's always good to make sure the host knows where they're going in case everyone else doesn't. That includes being able to get people back on track if they get lost, bring them to any and all chests, and willingly lead through sections. [b]3) Being a leader:[/b] Okay, so I'm not trying to sound like "woo be a leader yay!" or whatever, but a host is gonna be the guy who makes calls. Keep wiping at Atheon because Plate Team is all dying? You gotta be willing to ask them what's going on, call them out on things they're doing wrong, and asking people to switch up roles if that's what is needed. Pretty much it means calling people on their shit in a constructive way (without sounding like a dick) and figuring out the best course of action to remedy the problem. It will mean being the "bad guy" sometimes and telling someone to switch with someone else if they can't handle the role they're given. These are just a couple of ideas to keep in mind. I'm all for expanding the number of hosts we have for Raid Wednesday, but I want to make sure we don't just go ahead and end up creating unsuccessful raiding parties. Just trying to be cautious and not waste people's time. I'm 100% open to helping people learn the host role, so let me know what you guys think. Sorry for the wall of text.
