I am, but I have considerably large doubts. The [Bungie Ninjas] have been silencing the many [Guardians] who spoke up about these doubts and fears. Here it is, in a shell made from nuts. Do not open if easily offended by this viewpoint.
Bungie hints at Destiny throughout Halo. ODST makes more visible evidence. Marty fired. Much riot. First sign of defiance. Pre-Alpha footage shown. Hype material shown. Alpha tested, testers speak out about lack of story and other things that Bungie ignored as a whole. Pre-order flooding. Beta is opened to those who paid. Many were blinded, enjoying what there was to enjoy. Beta opened to world, BETRAYING those who paid for this. Second sign of Defiance. A mission, with full exploration of what was available, of the Moon. Iron Banner, when it was rewarding and entertaining for all. [EPISODES] 1 and 2 announced. World gets access. Announces disappointment, Bungie's abilities to do things begin to worsen... ...Mythoclast nerfed too much. Fusions made useless. Autos made useless. Dark Below released. Payment barrier created. Fixes. House Wolves delayed. Raid within delayed. House Wolves releases a month late. Second payment barrier. Raid never happens. Lack of content is felt. Third sign of defiance. Taken King inevitable. Third payment barrier, more expensive, forces players to destroy their previous gear for vault space (despite the lies set, as if they could use the 'become Legend' thing on me again). 'Become Legend' never happens. Bungie continues to not-succeed. Playerbase moves on to better games because Bungie tried to make an MORPGS and then turned it into a Pay2Play+Win game with no Legends because everyone is wearing the same gear.
• Call me a desticle i don't care. But most arguments you give are either on Activisions end or no problem at all. (Refering to payments for Activision. legendaries are a good thing amd pay to play being bs since you can still play the original content that's like saying you can't play cod after a dlc drops. You can still reach max lvl even without buying any dlc

We're in #Destiny. It's impossible to call you a Desticle when you're in the place they belong. You are called a Guardian here. The entire comment is in this spoiler due to how many words I unintentionally employed. In short: Halo Reach map packs didn't deny access to vital parts of the game.
You don't remember, Bungie has a LOT of currency on them and they could've done much better with Destiny. In fact, they could've given the DLC for free based on the funds they're getting, but no. Greed has taken them. They delay updates, they ignore useful ideas, and they don't tell you what they're doing anymore. In Halo Reach, you didn't need any of the map packs to play. However, in Destiny, you NEED the DLC in order to get to Light 32 (Dark Below)/34 (House Wolves) and get the stuff to make your guns useful and so on. This is made even more evident with Taken King (40, barred by currency for accessing content needed for the levelling; it would be a grind). Point: This game isn't meant to be an MMO where you chuck your stat increasing bits away and wear even more stat increasing bits. This is a game where the weapons change how you play. The armour changes how you fight. Throwing this away will feel like being forced to choose a predetermined playstyle from an increasingly narrow amount of combinations (Suros+Matador+rocket or similar).
• Yet again you blame bungie for activisons flaws. It wasn't bungie who decided to rush destiny. Nor was it bungie who create the idea of these way too small dlc's coming way too fast after one another. You think that lead story designer left bungie and the game because of issues with his colleagues? Nope he couldn't stand the awesome story he created being chopped into pieces for an easy cashgrab. They're stuck behind a contract with the devil itself. Activision wants to have another cod since they know it's dying. Don't get me wrong bungie did make mistake like adding reforging and some horrible weapon balancing and other stuff i can't think of atm, they're not perfect, not even close but blaming them for the business model is just plain wrong that's all on the producer as is the marketing which took a huge chunk of the budget aswell. Don't even get me started on their test to implement pay to win content (redbull code). I wish bungie never sided with Activision and i hope they're seriously regretting it

  • Agreed. Yes, Activision is the one to blame more-so than Bungie. Yet Bungie signed up for this, so they will take some impact.

  • Absolutely. They were fools to partner with them. I think Activision jusy dropped the biggest bag of cash for them at the cost of a lot of creative freedom
