Is it connection issues? That made the problems worse before the patch. Or at least more likely to happen. (Not saying your Internet is bad just maybe connected to someone with conflicting connections.) Before the patch we would switch hosts and while a certain person was host, we NEVER had the bugs/glitches happen. Just an idea?
