The Taken King: Collectors XBox ONE and XBox 360 content
I have a question that I have been wondering about. We are soon to upgrade to the XBox ONE so I was not too upset to find that the Collectors Edition is only available for the 360. However I will be keeping my 360 active as a great number of my personnel will not be upgrading anytime soon. Here is the question, when I receive my Collector's Edition and redeem the expansion will I have the Expansion content playable on both systems or just the ONE or which ever I redeem on? I would like to think that I will have both but this is not a "duh" scenario and I feel its needs some clarification. I would really hate to have to purchase another copy of the Taken King after shelling out the $80+ for the collectors edition and seeings how you (Bungie) had the free upgrade offer in the past it really makes me wonder. Thanks for your time.

Hi CMD Iron, All of the previous expansions The Dark Below and House of Wolves will transfer over thanks to the Digital Upgrade Program, but The Taken King will not transfer. For more information about the Digital Upgrade Program, go here: https://www.destinythegame.com/digital-upgrade Also all expansions are not backwards compatible so if you buy them on your Xbox One they will not transfer to your Xbox 360.
