Don't get me wrong, it's a very pretty skybox and nice lighting effects, but when it interferes with gameplay and causes irreversible retina damage, it's a little over the top.
If it is the whole point of the map, fine. It's a brilliant map visually and of course the glare will stay... Just tone it down a little so that I can play the game without needing to have sunscreen and sunglasses on. If I could enjoy some Trials for the weekend and not come away from it like Stevie Wonder, that'd be great :)
Also, why don't we flip spawns each round....?
To the common replies:
Asking for the brightness of the lighting effects to be turned down is not asking for 'the Sun to be nerfed'. Derp-ede-Derp
Yes, the Sun is bright. Yes, it would be blinding on Mercury.... But, this is a video game. A video game where evil time-travelling robots control Venus, and Aliens have infested the Moon. I think there's room for the suspension of disbelief here...... Unless you want to go the realistic route and have us all instantly incinerated upon spawning :)

6 通の返信Please don't fix it. It's part of map control. They want people to fight for better positions.

Its not just the sun its the head glitching combined. Basically as much as i want to say use different tactics. U are right because the head glitching combined with the ridiculous glare ruins the map. So yes the sun either needs to be toned down or the opposition needs to be properly silhouetted. Also why the hell is head glitching still a thing after many developers have made the same mistake with it. Can't someone fix it.

1 返信It gives the map a cool individuality and you could just turn your brightness down. Venus is also hotter than Mercury... doesn't really relate but I'll give everyone a refresher in 4th grade science.

sorry, if you dont understand how to play burning shrine. dont. why exactly should you even challenge them in the sun when you know they have the advantage? stupid. yes, spawns should flip...why destiny doesnt implement this is beyond me, but it barely makes a difference.

5 通の返信No spawn swapping is literally the dumbest thing if trials is supposed to be "competitive".

It is supposed to bother you to look into it, so there is a strength to the outside position. It is a deliberate part of the map that you don't understand is supposed to disadvantage you when you are aiming outside.

1 返信They need to make it where teams switch sides every round. I think that would be fair

I strongly agree with you on this. Im not trying to complain. It just gives one team an unfair advantage when they are given outside spawn. Not only is the sun there for their advantage, but they can headglitch the hill and look up towards C flag. It is nearly impossible for the team that spawns inside to kill the people headglitching on the hill. I understand it is a strategy that is used to an advantage, but it is way too much of an advantage than neccessary especially since they are at lower ground and look upwards at C spawn and can clearly see the enemies entire body. And just to add to it, there is only a slim opening for the people up top to get a sight on the people on the hill, which in most cases the people on the hill are already hardscoping. The sun just needs to be slightly dimmed to the point that you can clearly see the people on the hill.
